Great song!! Thank you for your patience you give players of every level a chance to play along. Like the purple background too. If you’re not a member of Relax and Learn Guitar, what are you waiting for? It’s a great group!
Ok fans. Kevin is doing a bang up job. For u beginners uv got to go thru basic training and pass the test. What I mean by this is ur fingers are going to hurt. U have to get ur fingers toughen up so they don't hurt anymore. Then u can start on the other hand. One hand at a time...
I love this song. I am going to work on it this weekend. Thanks for all your videos.I am getting back into guitar. Life got in the way for many years and now it's time for me to enjoy my guitars again.
Hey Kev Happy New Year Just watched your great video of Wagon Wheel. Noodling a little, I noticed that going from Em to C could be made easier for beginner, like me, to use the C shape for the Em, then just slide up one fret and add first finger to make a C. Your thoughts. JH
Great lesson..Im an older student (62).. trying to play with metronome..can you recommend speed which to aim for on songs..be a big help..thank you cheers

Mate be advised I have received 2 emails same message ...saying I have been selected for a prize and to reply to claim..I havent as Im sure its a hoax...
Thank you for this my next song✅ one question I have though is when picking the base notes, Do I hit the bass note in between transition or after transition? Does that make sense
Just curious, Kevin. What other bright,"involving" songs, like "Wagon Wheel" can you suggest? I've been playing it for days and singing and humming it when I'm away from my guitar. More Bob Dylan/country-type tunes?
Thee are so many. Here is a playlist with some Dylan tunes. Good place to start. ua-cam.com/play/PLdK4lrg6GgfjOJB1v1bUOIdMt3efSjm7B.html&si=ThnvjO2jtzCqBrdR

I think so. The base not is the beginning of the pattern. Does that help ?
@@Relaxandlearnguitar Thank you Sensei 🙏

Thanks Kevin. I’ve been playing on and off for 60 years. You’ve renewed my interest after wandering away for a couple of years.
I have always wondered if you could change a C for a Cadd9. Please give me advice if i can or can't.
Yes you can. It will still sound good. And if it sounds good it is good. :)
@@Relaxandlearnguitar okay. Thanks for the advice. I just find a Cadd9 easier to play exspeshly if it's after a G chord
Is the bass strum open, or do you play it with a finger?
The bass note changes based on the chord
Dont like Darius version. Perfer Old Crow Medicine Show. Yes there is a difference
Thanks!
Welcome! Thank you!
