Confirming that it is still not any better! Received my offer letter with an orientation date, showed up just to be informed my background check wasn't back and had to go home. They said they would call and then heard nothing for a week. Finally received a text with another orientation date for Friday. Very frustrating
im a million years late but this video is so helpful. like i go for my orientation thursday and this will be my first official job so i was really worried about the cash register but you saying it’s super easy makes me feel a lot better thank you omg
How do you know if you have to give a customer a gift card for qualifying purchases. How to set to red cards if they want them? Other than that I feel confident
do you have to do a lot of testing on a computer like Walmart does,walmart does a thing called pathways,is target different and does not test you on a computer,like right after orientation
beverly taylor We have quizzes we have to take. They take about 30-an hour each but can all be done in one sitting. They usually happen on your first days there.
beverly taylor that’s insane!! Target literally only has a few to do and you do them all in like a 2 hour window or so. Then you’re done with all of that stuff.
with walmart it takes more than 3 months just getting through pathways. i was also denied by one of csm that i couldn't finish finally the zone manager gave me permmison after my lunch no matter csm said i could get it done. never through the asshole under the bus which i should of i asked when there was coverage. when i help two others walmart cashier do the same told them to go to a certin csm to get there answer i said i 'll cover them
When the minimum goes up, it's true that in most places, the old-timers also go up to the new minimum if they are not higher already... but sometimes they also get a pay bump of around 3 cents to maybe 11 cents just so it looks like they still are paid a few cents more than the new hires... ridiculous KingdomOfRachel, right?
Very! Before I left Target, there were a lot of people who had been there a long time that were very upset by this. They felt as if they worked hard for nothing. Rightfully so!
I did want to know how many hours you make? Obviously it'll be more during season, but my HR said I'd only get about 10-15 hours a week. I'm used to working at least 24 a week.
Hey excuse me i know this video over a year ago but i just wanna ask can u give me some tips on processing different types of payments? Like checks, the target wallet,... In my store all of these are hella messed up and can void the whole thing if i do it wrong
Unfortunately, I haven’t worked at target in over 2 years, so I’m not sure what has changed and what hasn’t. I would just say to take everything slow and not rush through the transaction. I had to slow myself down sometimes because it’s easy to make mistakes when it’s busy and you’re trying to quickly get through a line. I hope that helps!

Walmart said their s will take six months to complete,that is ridiculous,do you have that much to do with target?

Britney Brown I usually get anywhere from 25-32 but then again we are pretty short staffed at the moment.
