- This video is kind of a flash back to earlier this year.. Just didn't feel like editing it for some reason. As I went through it though, I realized, we did much better than I remembered. Plus, anytime you can get some feesh eating on an underwater camera.. I CONSIDER THAT A WIN! PAAA POWWW!!!

Reminds me of the late 90s when I started targeting cats under the ice up here in South Dakota. Not alot of people were doing that back then, (targeting catfish) then again the ice fishing Community aint big into cold water cats,
even though we have lots of water up here.

Dune forgot many a time to re-apply hooks in/on/to my bait, mostly when I miss the hit and my wife is watching me. But damn that was awesome to watch those “aquarium kitties” in mass while having a line in the water. Good luck on your next adventure.

When fishing for these kitties, i usually use minnow heads on my buck shot and they’re pretty aggressive with the presentation.

I have never fished on the ice but I had a question. Can you use a gaff to pull the fish out the hole? Seems like you would wanna save those fingers. A simple barbless hook bent 1/2 open ties to a stick.
