- A couple years ago our same group of dysfunctional degenerates ventured out on to this same lake, and did something INCREDIBLE.. In my book a 23 pound channel through the ice is incredible. Anywho, in January of 2023 we had a reunion. I didn't edit it last year because of some audio issues, and lack of live scope footage, but going back through it was a hoot. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. PAAA POWWW!!!

I've got out icefishing last weekend in ND 6 inches on smaller lakes got some perch and walleyes it's ice time guys and gals!! Love it my favorite thing in life

I live in Nebraska, we have about 0 ice. Brian lives in Kansas which is at least 2.5 hours south of me and I can’t imagine they have any more than 0 ice. Makes me wonder if this is early ice 2022

Make yourself a little gaff to get them things out of the hole. Just take a big treblehook and get rid of the barbs and weld it onto a couple foot long rod or a wood dowel or something. That’s what I use for northerns, it works great cause then if all you can see is the tail or you just don’t wanna try to grab them by the head you can just snag them quick with the gaff 👍
Worst advice. If your catch and release you don’t wanna hurt a fish even more and if your that afraid to grab or hold a fish with teeth then don’t target pike.

Stupid geese! They’re doing the same thing on my little local lake out where everyone wants to get out and fish at. 4” everywhere else but the geese got a big patch of open water.

Carry a little squirt bottle of olive oil and put a few drops in your hole and it wont freeze over
