Unexpected FISH OF A LIFETIME Was In This URBAN WATERFALL!!! (Unexpected Catch)

- Who recalls the rains spillin'way spot? You gotta be a dedicated stachurbator, because it has been a VERY long time. I've tried multiple times since to actually catch something and it just hasn't panned out. This time wasn't exactly panning out either. I was packing up after testing the biggest fishing hunk of junk on Amazon, when I noticed something swimming.. It wasn't a carp, it had teeth, and it had MULTIPLE FRIENDS.

THANK YOU FOR WATCHING! - Спорт
Literally right after this was recorded the water went WAY up.. Only to get more rain yesterday. Major flooding on this creek, and other surrounding creeks. Prayers to y'all effected.
Time to go investigating tomorrow.
The rain (6 1/2 inches of it) filled every lake in the Metro... including the ones that were near empty.
hello
@@Ellros We didn't get much in Lincoln, but Omaha/Fremont/Wahoo got pounded. They needed water.
In central iowa .I got 3 inches here. No more drought
Because of your diarrhea, probably.
I live a couple of miles from this spot, it's one of my favorites. That whole river is filled with catfish, carp, and gar. Last summer I hooked a musky there on a small piece of a nightcrawler, but it broke my line. The water got up so high this morning that the sidewalk was underwater and it was hitting the bridge. I also fell directly into the waterfall there once while reeling in a massive drum, and swam to shore and still landed it. Love the video!
You have a lot of history here 😂
Crazy how high the water is today!
That is fricken awesome Mann the water levels are crazy right now! Is that the spillway off of 72nd?
@@605Fishing it’s under 84th/ Washington st

Nothin else like it.@@coursing_thru_life
2 vids back to back, good times stash man
We back baby 👋🏻
Rumor is they washed out of Zornisky when the water was super high due to the flood, the fact there are still around in there even 5ish years later is pretty wild but WTG JOSH!!!
It was when they drained Zorinsky but they still was into the creek periodically.
Thank you for taking me along.
R.Craw.
Josh has a Poonami brewing! 🤣
Always.. With of without coffee 😂
Poonami ! I hate when that happens!🤣
I use 10 inch glide baits and 8 to 12 inch musky dawgs and they can’t resist them bro 😎 try em out you won’t be disappointed and great video as always man 🎣🎣🎣
Best fishing videos on UA-cam keep it up you dirty old stache bag 😂 Great vids josh been watching for year now never gets old ..❤
Been watching you for a few years now. Your still great and getting better thank you for doing it
Appreciate that ❤
Congrats on the musky! You will have to hit that spot again in hope for a bigger one! They were loving that mouse!
Love the content. Hope you are having fun making them.
A storm's a brewing, in the sky, and in this guy!! 😂😂
It is always awesome to see you catch fish at spots I can’t 🫡🫡🫡
Just lucked into a couple Muskie bites after struggling 😂
We're gonna need a full commitment video on the auto pole😂
Idk how else to say it family friendly but you are the dookie! Love every video man keep on keeping on.
I am a few hours east of you and all of our rivers are raging.. great video man!! Good work
We got the water we needed all at once 😂
Awesome!! Like always, ooooh yeah!!
A beautiful fish. 👍
Washed down to river by now 🥲
Congratulations on the catch.
Entertaining 😅 great video
Definitely one of my favorite fishermen to watch. Thank you for sharing your videos as always. God bless you and your family.
Saw my first Muskie this week, critter was beautiful! Need more catch or die tours this year if you can! Keep up the great content brother!
That's kick ass!
My favorite freshwater shark!
Mine too. I missed them.
Another awesome video well done a really nice fish
Smallmouth and muskies in back to back Nebraska videos, holy stache.
What a start !!!!! Musky catch makes the hole day good no matter what happens .
Excellent fishing video
I'm always impressed at the fish you kick out of these little rivers and creeks. That's not exactly the kind of spot that screams "muskie fishing here!" but nonetheless, there they are, and you stuck a few of them too. Good video, take care out there.
Nebraska can be kinda strange in that sense 😂
Thanks for watching!
caught my first musky ever last weekend !!! 24.5 pounds 43.5 in long !!!
That's a tanker
love your videosbeen watching for about 2 years now keep it up man! and yes i did buy a 6'6 stache stick
Appreciate your support! ❤️
The mousekatool to the rescue 😂 keep it up fam!
I remember the musky Ash caught ❤
Oh yea, that was wild
Awesome video man 🔥🔥🎣🎣
Good job Stach man
good stuff
Definitely a bucket list fish.
I enjoy when they show up
Muskie an pike are like fresh water Barracudas!🍻
That Granola bar knocked a turd loose.😂 Great video Stache Man. Hope you and the family are doing well ✌️❤️
Thanks for the video Josh !
I caught a Muskie once, or actually brought it up to the boat and my Walleye net wasn’t big enough to land it. I hooked it on. #2 Mepps I was using to catch Northerns. Muskie are a definitely a strange fish. I see them occasionally at the cabin on Lake Vermilion, MN. Mostly they just ignore me and my lures.
Lets go fishing keep it up great content
I'll do my best!
You're the s*** bro🎉 I just got back from a 5-day fishing trip catching walleyes and small mouth on Lake Mille Lacs in Minnesota and my buddy crapped his pants😂
Hope you are all safe this morning
Nice catch. Crazy the big fish that can come out of small streams like that. There's a "river" close to me that is probably only 30ft across at the most and consistently produces muskie over 50". Of course it's connected to a few lakes, but still. Nice job, enjoying the content man.
I found your spilling way on the Googles. Papillion Creek.
The water is touching the road now
@@PigPatrolTV How do you think this will impact Papio fishing?
Buddy I have to deep dive into your channel in order to find videos I haven't liked. Keep the content coming man
The old gray mare ain't what she used to be
Who's the old gray mare? 😂
@@PigPatrolTVisnt that when the tiny worker inside your body responsible for painting the pubes retires, leaving the post forever unmanned?
AKA the time in a man's life when every 'carpet match the drapes?' wise crack comes home to roost?
Thanks for the upload! Kinda curious, you ever thought of getting one of those magnet things, and give it like a 10minute chuck around before packing up? Dunno, might be fun, plus could make something different to upload whilst your still doing your fishing stuff n things
Hello Stache Man 🤘
Hey dude 👋🏻
Live Target mouse is also killer!! Walks the dog perfectly. Put a glass rattle inside it. I catch everything on it.
My boy lookin SNAZZY
Yeahhhhh Buddy!
Hell yea man!
Awesome
So glad you fished this.... was wondering if you ever would
Spillin' way!
Eats 1 year old car corn. Shits his pants. Lines up lol 😅
🌽 💩 🎉
The math is solid...the rest wasn't...
🚶💨
Very cool nice job
Oh, have you seen Lake Wannahoo?!! Massive flooding up in that area
I love it every time you casually catch a musky. For all European pike fishers it is a distant dream to catch one.
Well way better than a carp boi thats for sure!
Hell yeah nice musky man
Quote of the year " A storms a brewen, in the sky, and in the backside of my pants" ......lol I am going to use that one for sure!
Thank your gooberment for all the sky spraying...
Sick spot. Would love to get into some musky. But I can't complain this season here in Wisconsin. Since the opener on May 4th, I have caught a 18 inch largie, 3 smallies over 15 including a 18 1/2 and a 19 1/2 inch walleye. Also caught bunches of nice stream brown trout (2 at 13 inches) and nice bluegills and perch. Been an amazing season thus far
Man I tell you what, another of people wouldn't guess it but muskie love those fast moving currents. I live on lake st Clair and have caught more muskie out of a spillway connected to the lake then I ever have out of the actual lake. And to answer your confusion at the end of the video, yes muskie are one of the most finicky fish. They eat for like an hour a day. What we muskie fisherman call the elusive bite window
My band is gonna be in Omaha in August, we're gonna have a free day so I finally get to fish a midwest spillway! Band is Embering Effigy if your interested
Top water hits are great fun. You will catch more Muskie subsurface. Try #11 sinking Rapala. Keep your rod tip. I caught 17 Muskie my last two trips out to my river camp. So if you chased them out of the fast shallow water cast downstream I caught every one lately realing against the current.
15:46 this video made me cross my toes go like 30 seconds back
Did you ever get them uncrossed?!
@@PigPatrolTV nope they are stuck still
Changing up lures helps sometimes, but it's hard to put down what was just working.
Lets go my guy
I come for the dumb things being said, and stay to see some fish being caught!! Love your views stache man!
I just bought a couple telescopics and figured I was not going to like them. These things are amazing. They feel like the old silaflex which was my favorite rod.
Came through Nebraska on the way to South Dakota for a pheasant hunt. Whole lot of nothing out there 😂😂 the fishing there is apparently pretty cool though. Definitely bringing a rod and reel next time.
My guy looking extra fly in this video. Hair cut? New hoodie?
Just flyin'
Big muskigians spillway 😂
Hello brother
Whopper Plopper, Zara Spook, Line-Thru Swimbait, Bull Dog swim grub in the 6”-12” range… I love top water and I use the mouse at night fishing for big brown trout on the Gunnison River Late Summer to mid fall. I cast down stream right off the bank with my fiberglass fly rod. You won’t catch in numbers but you’ll catch the biggest baddies in the stream 💯Facts.
Musky for the win🤘
Fresh vids
U gotta roll back there when the water goes down and try the medium stash with a bigger baby whale...I'm guessing that'll get the muskies stirred up
Kicking off catfish season this Thursday and we usually catch a dozen or two channel kitties an occasional blue but I did hook a Muskie awhile back and he destroyed all my shit and broke off so there’s a chance for redemption, praying to sweet baby Jesus it all goes well. Thanks for the cool and inspiring vids Josh I seriously thank and appreciate you my dude 👊
Whopper plopper has produced my biggest pike and musky up here in the iowa rivers. Caught a 44.5" musky in November... by far my best around this neck of the woods. Good buddy caught a 46" pike on a 4" glide bait. Happy hunting buddy man.
Black & Silver caught the biggest, Perch color has produced the most for reference point. Skip the 2" and go 4" all day. I've caught 3"smallies on the 4" the 2" isn't enticing enough in my opinion. Caught a 21" smally last summer out of a small river. Record in iowa was 22" 🤣 go get em tiger. The plopper is just too much fun when they're hitting.
Not gona lie, it would be rad to see you do an European style carp fishing session!
Nice video. You're too funny. hook-up=reel-reel=play with the drag=reel-reel=play with the drag=reel-reel=play with the drag=etc=etc=etc
Ned Flanders is at it again!!
Oh shit😮😮😮 I've fucking seen it all now....😅
I would have never thought it would still have them in there
I hope I get to fish with ya one day! Shit makes me smile!
@PigPatrolTV Go back and use a goldfish or blue gill for bait and a Styrofoam bobber and cast under the waterfall. The current will keep it along the wall and out of snags.
You should come to tx and noodle with us
That's awesome. I went carp fishing earlier to try some bait I'd made and caught a big striper it was big as my leg about 36 Inches. Caught it on a small circle hook with corn😂
The bait you made was corn? Or corn was plan b?
@jessejackson5570 the bait I made had corn in it and had a couple pieces on my hook also
I've been throwing both size draws and only manage pike with them..megga musky will hit it sooner or later I feel
I’m pretty sure last time you caught a Muskie was like 2-3 years ago in that tiny spillway that was loaded with walleye and you caught that one Muskie about the size of this one
Can't believe I was the first to hit the like button on one of your videos 😃
What size stradic are you using ?
I have one of those poles but I have never used it
16:43 bricked up muskies
Caught lots of muskie on the pro shad baby whale this spring
This past Sunday was my 49th birthday I went Bass fishing caught several bass but the last was the best he was 21¾ inch drag burner
Got to name new setup it Maddock. So you have Otto and Maddock
