I struggle so much with being really intentional about what I buy and bring into my home. I’ve learned my lesson from buying so many things that I ended up not having a place for and it ends up feeling wasteful. You’re really good at shopping with intention and purpose and it truly shows in your beautiful home.
Wow! Such great scores! I’m excited for Christmas now too, been looking at fall for too long now😂 and the wood stove is going here now so it just feels like time for Christmas. I’ve been picking up things that are vintage, I’m over the plastic and everyday, everybody has things. I’ll be sorting thru now and donating those and just keep vintage in my home, 🤦🏻♀️ it’s scary things I grew up with are now vintage!😂 Love the mirror, stool and chair especially!
The bean pots sat on top of a electric heated chrome plate to slow cook the beans. Yours appears to be missing the pot. I see these all the time for $5 and less. They were quite common.
I saw your video when u said u weren't buying anymore cook books & I think I commented on that video too saying, buy the dang cookbook!!! Lol. If you see one that you like & it's a reasonable price just get it! You never know when you might do a "giveaway" on your channel someday, or you may give it as a gift to a friend or family member in the future. Just get the cookbook! Love your channel.
Great finds! The drawer pulls are beautiful! One idea for the extra one is to mount it vertically on the wall and tuck a hand towel through it. I have done this in my kitchen and it works great 😊
Hi Brianne. Just watching your video and saw your reframed peach artwork. I don’t know if you know about Howard’s Restor-A-Finish but it is magic! It can be found at hardware stores and Lowe’s and Home Depot. It comes in different color but if you only buy one I suggest Mahogany. Don’t shake it up for lighter brown finishes and shake well for darker ones. For lighter woods buy lighter shades like pine, golden oak etc. It dissolves the original finish, restains scratches and gouges and then dries with a hard finish. It also cleans any old furniture polish and even mildew at the same time. A can lasts forever. Must be used away from flame and heat either outside or well-ventilated area. Happy thrifting. Barbara.
Thank you! I am here and don't plan on going anywhere! I have just been slow to get videos out. I've really missed reading all the comments, I enjoy reading through them a lot!
So excited to see another post from you! I love your channel. There are only 2 channels I care enough to comment on and yours is one of those. But girl, you can never have too many cookbooks!! Never leave a special one behind. Cookbooks need love too. 😁
? When did she say it was wrong? I watched this thru never once did I hear her say it wrong just she not a reseller I thrift I’m not reseller either I thrift for myself!
I guess someone deleted their comment? 😆 You’re right… she has never said it was wrong to resell thru any of her haul videos. I believe she shows us really great quality finds that are worth money after researching them but her intent is to keep, style and curate her home with the vintage and antique pieces. Lots of people resell vintage things. It’s a great business or side hustle. I thrift when I can and the occasional antique shopping. (For over 20 years now) I’ve also done reselling the last year or so but I never resell my thrift and vintage finds. Hahaha! And yes, I will look up an item I find out of curiosity (for price) and the history of it. But they are priceless to me. So they stay with me and my home. I love this haul!
When you showed the sink i immidetaly thought oh copper fuacit would be stunning but so would brass! Cant wait to see your bathroom renovation.

I too, have felt the same feelings of being wasteful. It was a lesson learned!

You are so right, I just can’t resist! 😂 But that is such a great idea about the giveaway, I think I am going to have to do that!

Nice you're not a reseller. Making a profit from items in thrift stores, seems not so nice.
Reselling is fine, you keep saying you don’t like it’s wrong or something.
You’re right, it is completely fine! I have no problems with anyone who resells.
