I love all your thrifting hauls… but that 1989 bell got me … I always look for vintage ornaments in that year… being that my oldest son passed away 2 years ago and I had to buried him the day before thanksgiving … is my way of bringing him back home❤tyfs and happy holidays❤

Everything is beautiful. And everything has and will keep standing the test of time. Which is why I love slowly curating my home. Going thrifting, yard sales…to find treasures. Nothing is a trend or something trendy for one season or one year that you pay full price for new that you end up tossing. You love these pieces forever. And one day when I’m of old age and I need to start parting with things, I can pass them to my niece or my close friends children or maybe set up a vintage booth in my home shop to resell. I love other people getting second hand so that item just keeps getting a life and not the landfill. My Mama has slowly done this with pieces of her own… she has given them to me. 🥹 My Mama instilled thrifting and second hand to me as a kid and I still do it at 44. 🩷

Hi Brianne! I love brass too. I've started buying & collecting brass pieces before i really started collecting my antiques & older pieces. Oh goodness me too! I've been looking for a pair of old white ice skates for 2yrs! I haven't even seen black ones.🥴 I also want an old wooden sleigh to hang them on! Look I'm A digger too!😄 Oh Wow.. love the Burberry scarf, what a deal! I wear Burberry perfume..mmmm!! I've always liked the signature Buberry plaid. A lamp topper is called a finial. The quilted ornaments are really cute! I love a toile pattern. The brass pillar candle holder is very pretty. Oh my.. love the "hobnail" milkglass lamp! I collect old lamps. Both my bedroom Lamps are the hobnail milkglass. One is made like that one but has a brass base..I use an amber bulb in that one & is gorgeous! And my bedside lamp, which was Webby i started collecting lamps, is a brass tea kettle with the big round hobnail globe & the clear hurricane shade, like on this one, covers the bulb & comes up through the globe. Its really old & i love it so much! But I also have a several other milk glass lamp bases & a small collection of milkglass, mostly hobnail. Oh Wow.. love Santa mugs! I really want to find some vintage ones, but never see them! Steal of A deal on those! I love the mini's, they're precious. The mini's are very popular. Same here, i google Lens everything!😄 Ohh to be 35 again, that was many moons ago for me.🫤 But thank God I'm still here! I used to buy the fat glass ornaments each year with the year on them. Starting collecting them in 1986 the year my daughter, the oldest of my 2 kids, was born. Probably bought them for at least 10yrs. But no longer have them. I love anything that has been handstitched.. cross stitch or embroidery! I also used to buy several of the metal ornaments every year.. they aren't real brass & they do eventually turn or dull over time. They came from Walmart at the jewelry counter & they would engrave them for you if there was space, not all had the space. Lol thats so funny! I graduated in 1982 & I'm a grandma😄 The red blanket/quilt is beautiful! Another steal! That's all i use on my beds are the cotton quilts, and have been for years! Hi Brianne. Your white milk glass lamp with the clear chimney is a pattern called “hobnail”. It tends to be the most desirable milk glass pattern which usually sells for more than other patterns. Good find at a fantastic price! Happy Holidays.

I grew up ice skating on my grandmother's lake in Wisconsin. I wish I still had my ice skates. They were white and would be about 50 years old and what a treasure! Love your style!!! Really enjoy watching your videos! Thank you!

There is a cream called working man's hands. It's the only thing that works. It's in a green jar. Sometimes they have it at dollar general or walmart. It will fix your hands in one day. And I'm with you on the egg thing....lol

I am freaked out by the raw egg in homemade mayonnaise too. BUT, I recently saw some recipes for homemade mayo using Hard boiled eggs. Try googling that and see if any of them look good to you. I have not tried any yet, so I cant make a recommendation.

Wow! Such great scores! I’m excited for Christmas now too, been looking at fall for too long now😂 and the wood stove is going here now so it just feels like time for Christmas. I’ve been picking up things that are vintage, I’m over the plastic and everyday, everybody has things. I’ll be sorting thru now and donating those and just keep vintage in my home, 🤦🏻‍♀️ it’s scary things I grew up with are now vintage!😂 Love the mirror, stool and chair especially!

The bean pots sat on top of a electric heated chrome plate to slow cook the beans. Yours appears to be missing the pot. I see these all the time for $5 and less. They were quite common.

I struggle so much with being really intentional about what I buy and bring into my home. I’ve learned my lesson from buying so many things that I ended up not having a place for and it ends up feeling wasteful. You’re really good at shopping with intention and purpose and it truly shows in your beautiful home.

Hi Brianne. Just watching your video and saw your reframed peach artwork. I don’t know if you know about Howard’s Restor-A-Finish but it is magic! It can be found at hardware stores and Lowe’s and Home Depot. It comes in different color but if you only buy one I suggest Mahogany. Don’t shake it up for lighter brown finishes and shake well for darker ones. For lighter woods buy lighter shades like pine, golden oak etc. It dissolves the original finish, restains scratches and gouges and then dries with a hard finish. It also cleans any old furniture polish and even mildew at the same time. A can lasts forever. Must be used away from flame and heat either outside or well-ventilated area. Happy thrifting. Barbara.

Great finds! The drawer pulls are beautiful! One idea for the extra one is to mount it vertically on the wall and tuck a hand towel through it. I have done this in my kitchen and it works great 😊

If you see one that you like & it's a reasonable price just get it! You never know when you might do a "giveaway" on your channel someday, or you may give it as a gift to a friend or family member in the future. Just get the cookbook! Love your channel.
