I mean he was on a leash for the longest time, thanks to his father. It wasn’t until the latter half of Michael’s life that he finally had a type of backbone.
I agree. Michael and Freddie adored each other so I don't know why people spread these rumors. They both had different upbringings. Freddie pretty much did his own thing growing up in boarding school while Michael was under his father's thumb for so long. I will never be able to truly grasp how insanely wealthy Michael Jackson was. The man had his own planet.
Yet, he couldn't buy off Motown... as in the Motor City, itself. He once appealed to my city department about building an amusement park in Detroit. The city voted against it because they wanted casinos, instead.

Freddie did not hate Michael. Just creative differences. Also in an interview with Freddie, he mentioned that Michael was really quiet (not surprising) and this was due to his shut in life (also not surprising). They had conflicting and opposite personalities. Freddie was wild and didn’t like people telling him what to do, and Michael still being very young at the time- was more gentle and kept to himself. I mean he was on a leash for the longest time, thanks to his father. It wasn’t until the latter half of Michael’s life that he finally had a type of backbone.
I agree. Michael and Freddie adored each other so I don't know why people spread these rumors. They both had different upbringings. Freddie pretty much did his own thing growing up in boarding school while Michael was under his father's thumb for so long. But I'm glad they did have a friendship at some point and were able to complete 2 songs. I love them both. May their souls rest in peace.
He always had a backbone when it came to his music though. He never faltered when it came to quality.

It must have been Freddy that thought it was MJ's llama he was sure he saw in the sound booth. All over the llama were the words in caps of different MJ's songs. Thriller, Billie Jean, Beat It, Bad, Heal the World and two eggs in a skillet with these words beside them: This is Your Brain on Drugs.
