Got to swap this on my Scenic II in the next few days, in below zero temperatures.. can't wait for that finger shredding experience! Thanks for the video.
Super video on changing the belt & tensioner. Suggest one minor thing, run the engine up & check everything is running ok before putting the cover back on.
Update, i followed your video exactly and successfully replaced the generator and belt in just 2 hours. it included removing front and right headlight.
There may be one extra groove in the crankshaft pulley so pay attention at the belt installation. It worn out very fast if belt is not in the right grooves.
Good Job.. I have to do the same Shit on my 2012 Koleos tomorow.. its my last wish to do this fucking repair, but its necesseray. In a Renault Shop you have to pay a huge amount for.. I hope it will work 😁😁😁😁

The description and diagram on how to move this tensioner was just the bit of information I was looking for. Thanks for that!

Its a option, but some times you need to remove sensors and hoses. so you cant run the engine.
Loved the video. Your English is quite good, you know the technical terms :-)
I don't think the dutch viewers agree with you. A English speaking dutch man with an accent Is absolutely horrible sounding for them. 😅 O well.😆
Hehe
excellent video sir, thanks a million, a great help as i must replace my generator
No problem, Glad to help.

That's a respectable time. Glad the video was of help.
I need to do the same tensioner replacement on my duster, I hope it's not too difficult. Just putting a belt on by myself was a real challenge
Just take your time. Good luck.
Great video very helpful 👍 thanks for sharing
No problem.

Do you know what thread is in that bolt or where I can get new one
Sorry, don't know. Try your parts guy.
Thank you
No problem.
Good mechanic

Hi, the belt at exterior of damper
what is your opinion about Conti
There products are good. Always A brand bearings for the rollers.
So much effort for shit of tensioner pulley !!? Renault !!!
And it just getting worse and worse. And not only with Renault.
He should have taken the right wheel off and the front wheel liner A lot less of a struggle
Oh he got there in the end
