    Eric is extremely knowledgeable, I always end up learning a ton whenever he's on. Thank you both for the information!
    Also I don't know if its Eric is just small but Phil is looking even more jacked than usual, Much respect!

      Yeah people aren’t cutting upwards of 15-20 pounds in a span of 24 hours… not a popular topic unless you’re a hardcore combat sports fan which is a very niche audience

    Question, I don’t consume caffeine, but on the morning of the day of my fight I was going to have rice, pasta, eggs, and a cup of coffee to really help that glycogen absorb. Would that 1 cup throw off my system do you think or should I be okay if I drink plenty of water with electrolytes?

    I seen that Arnold Allen literally gained 26 pounds after weight ins. That's insane imo I didn't know they can pack that much back in I knew they could gain 10 pounds but 26 pounds?? That's crazy ASF. Now what's the most a fighter has gained back?? Anyone know?

      Alex Pereira. 185 Friday weigh in. 219 Saturday night.

      No way arnold allen weighed 145+26=171 pounds fight night. I think that would be the highest % gain back ever. Peirera 185+35=220 (i bet he’s closer to 215 tho)

      Normal people trying to gain muscle don’t even need 1 g per pound it’s more like .7 g per pound for fighters I would say around there is good. You are doing very laborious movements so you want to make sure your muscles heal and are good. Just make sure your calories are good and fit for your routines

    Last meal 4 to 5 hours before fight? Wouldn't even 4 hours leave certain fighters hungry?

    What do I do if I have to wrestle an hour after weigh ins. I usually cut only 7-9 pounds

    • @percyp126
      @percyp126 2 роки тому +6

      That’s stupid why are you cutting so much weight go up a weight class in wrestiling you shouldn’t be cutting that much there’s no point in coming in shape if you’re gonna drain your body and not give it time to recover.

      If you have to compete an hour after weigh ins you shouldn't be cutting at all

    Awesome tips👍 man, could you also tell us what's the suggestions when the fight and wight-in is in the same day? Because in my country we compete like 2-3 hrs after weight in very often ,also how much bodyweight*% you think it's safe & efficient in this case ,big big thanks🙏🙏🙏

      You just fight at your natural weight then man. Cutting a shit It’s not possible to fully rehydrate in 3 hours or less
