Gibson is proud to be back in the guitar amplifier business! Introducing the Falcon 5 and Falcon 20, inspired by vintage Gibson amps and reimagined for today’s players. These new amps, handcrafted in Petaluma, California, focus on great sound, simplicity, and ease of use. The new Falcon models pay homage to Gibson’s legendary past as one of the very first manufacturers of electric guitar amplification back in the 1930s but offer the versatility demanded on modern stages, in home studios, and beyond.
The Gibson Falcon amplifiers are available now in North America via authorized Gibson dealers and on Gibson.com, with global availability beginning in April 2024.
The Gibson Falcon 5 and Falcon 20 tube amps cater to both home use and gig environments with their versatile power options and superior features designed for the modern musicians. The Falcon 5, a tube amp perfect for home use, as well as studio recording delivers around seven watts of pure Class A power, switchable to around three watts, through a single 6V6 power tube. It boasts a 10-inch Jensen Blackbird Alnico speaker, wider-range volume and tone controls, and lush all-tube spring reverb. The Falcon 20, suitable for small to medium-sized gigs and studio use, offers additional power and features, including a dual 6V6 power stage with patented Multi-Watt™ technology for 12, five, or one-watt modes. It has an all-tube tremolo, spring reverb, a two-button footswitch for effect toggling, and a 12-inch Jensen Blackbird Alnico speaker for better spread and bass response.

Grace Bowers ❤
These appear to be all hand wired which is amazing
I've been waiting for this for years! Love them, send me one to review please! ❤
So awesome!!
Guitars, amps and curls. Rock n roll.
Why does it sound like a Transistor Radio??
Woah, I've been picking up on Gibson guitars lately. And now they just released new amps? This is great news to me and will definitely buy one next time I get the chance.
Please, please consider a 2x12 or 2x10 version of this with an effects loop and stereo input capability. This would be a killer pedal platform for recording.
Fantastic.
Glad you think so!
About time!
Awesome!
first of all, amazing. I played a Falcon years and years ago but couldn't afford it at the time.
Sounds like the Wish version of a Carr amp
0:29 ouch
Super out of tune 😂
Ouch is right😭
Reason why I stopped playing SG's.
@@The9thChorddumb reason. I have 3 that stay in tune just fine
@Ottophil I wasn't referring to tuning. I was referring to the weak neck joint that even the best SGs have. That, coupled with the vibrola she has on her SG Special, and it's a very unreliable guitar if not freshly set up.
Any idea when they are due in Australia??
Please & thank you 😊
very cool gibbons
Sounds great, are the circuit boards in the amp made in the USA or are they imported? Thanks
G'day Gibson, when can we expect the Falcon 20 & 5 into Australia please? We've been teased for months now haha, would sure be good to get our hands on them. My local store had the 2 x 10 dual falcon rock up, which is weird as it was released after the 20 & 5?? Hopefully they are not far off, Australia needs to hears these glorious tones live and loud!! Thank you :)
What Les Paul is he playing? It looks like an R9 to me but I don't recognize the finish. Is it Cinnamon Burst? I've seen a couple of those finishes on R9s at Wildwood Guitars. Amazing amps and love the content. I'll be picking up one of those amps soon!
I love Gibson and all but $1,500 for a 7-watt combo seems pretty wack
Everything is wack now. I’d expect hand wiring for that price which I’m not sure these are.
@@Dram1984
What amps are hand wired, at that price?
Handwired
Hell, I’d take this over the $2,000 ‘57 Champ from fender.
@@CorbCorbintone king gremlin
Nice
1500 is fairly reasonable for a single ended tube amp with reverb. The VickyVerb is way more. This one will be on my used gear radar :-)
That naming sure throws me off. the Falcon 5 is a 7 watt amp and the 20 is a 12 watt amp with attenuation to 5 and 1 watt... I totally expected them to be 5 and 20 watts respectively... also very expensive... They seem to sound good but I'm not sure the value is there...
😂 They sound like farts mixed in Mesa boogie..
Sound wise it reminds me of a Supro. Has that kind of character
Hit your tuner real quick 😵💫
This is wicked! Just when I realized I needed a good classic grit and clean tone amp….
Where is the demo Grace?
Yes!
Can we buy these in the U.K.?
I know Mesa won’t sell amps here, will Gibson continue to block sales of their own branded amps here too?
Both Mesa amps and Gibson amps will be back in the UK shortly
What do you mean by 'block'? My understanding is that Mesa were having supply chain issues so they temporarily stopped exporting. Where did you hear that they didn't want to sell amps in the UK?
@@notasilicaanimusit has been claimed that it’s due to “parts” and “regulatory” issues, meanwhile their competitors manage to jump through any hoops to get their amps in the U.K. market because they value their customers.
Just imagine if Marshall, Vox, Laney, Blackstar etc all were selling amps in America and then Orange stopped selling in America because of “regulatory issues” and “problems with parts” even though literally everyone else didn’t have a single issue. It would be a bit suspect, especially if it was for years on end when it could have clearly been resolved if they were willing.
Obviously it’s been a business decision to cut off the U.K. entirely for at least the last four years.
This means for the last four years the only market for Mesa amps in the U.K. is the used market, and the prices are currently astronomical because of the fact you just can’t buy them new in this country.
Cool to see these retirn but they're pretty pricey.
Also, someone definitely needed to tune
Well, since they bought masa boogie is that who’s making these?
valco?
YES. The Gibson amps are back
Ummmm.....sounded "not 1500.00"
To me.
Thank you Gibson, very cool!
Glad you like it!
Demo of an new amp with out of tune guitar? Why?
cause its a gibson
@@larryzink8978that’s their trade mark
@@larryzink8978Groan.
Before people complain, it's handwired in the US, so no duh its going to cost over a grand
Gee, I hope Fender doesn't sue you.
?
@@sooparticular the name 'Falcon' is trademarked by Gretsch
gibson has used that name since the 60s i believe i love gretsch! but They dont have a guitar named "Falcon"@@jwm3727
No thanks. Pricey
Sell your house (or a child), buy one!
Don’t show this to Glenn Fricker. I’d expect him to say that these suck because they’re Gibson.
Not really.
These are Mesa/Boogie.
😂they sound like farts. @@TheFellerHasAChannelGodDamnIt
Glen frickem would probably say this amp sounds like dog shit, but he'd be wrong because it actually sounds like baby farts and static electricity 😂
Maybe the boards are static charged, they are made by Mesa boogie after all. 😢
Not for that price though 😂
Sounds fizzy and thin to me for that kinda money. Pass
terrible demo but i know this sounds better
Where is the pedal amp
Sounds super muddy
Honestly. Hearing a gibson not in tune and a bad recording amp... go away
This should be $299.00. Total pcb and typical mesa dumb designed circuit. Saying its handwired should be a criminal offence
sounds quite horrible
Probably because the guitars out of tune tbh 😂
@@RavioloComboli that doesn`t help either, but also the tone is nothing to write home about IMHO
@modestoney1577. Agreed - 'Sounds like nasty, buzzy, preamp based distortion - Even though it's not. A good tube amp usually sounds better when you crank it up - Not this.
Farts and butt buzzers.😢
@@modestoney1577 fair enough
😂Gibson . 😢Gib$on 🤣
Fart Box amps . Messy Boogers.
