Great show, a load of stress disappeared , thanks. From a renter tenant.
Easy to understand and follow video - very clearly explained. Thank you!
I just replace the same infinite switch yesterday. Two terminals were getting loose. I squeezed them with pliers to make them tight again.
Thanks, very helpful.
Thank you......very informative video
Thank you!!!
Thank you
Thanks for your info!
It would be great if you gave us a clue as to why you’re changing out this “infinite heat switch”
Is the oven not working or are the burners not working, etc!
After you are done with the job, it would be great if you said, for example,
“now let’s turn on the oven and see if that resolved our problem! As u can see, it’s getting hot so…problem is resolved!”
Thanks, I did subscribe to your channel!
Your friend,

I bought a replacement switch and it's different from the original no instructions what do I do??
I have changed the infinite switches on my 2 year old frigidare stove but it still gets too hot,,oven also doesent seem to get hot as it should...does anything else control the stove top eyes or is the two year old stove garbage,,,its a clear fire hazard,,,reading posts seems many people have same issues regardless of brand of stove...what other part could be repalced
I have a Siemens stove model HN 122200. And the "On indicator light stays On. checked all the switches and the problem was not in them. What can it be? It is not a hot surface indicator but an oven "On" indicator or left side hubs "On" Indicator . When I turn the left hubs On the light is bright and works as it should. When I turn everything Off the light is less bright and stays On for days while everything is cold and turned Off.
When I unplug the wires from the hub switch (second switch from the left ) the light turns off. Also when I unplug the red wire from the oven switch (heaters setup switch not temperature) . the light turns off. Where is this short out coming from? I've checked the oven switch too and it looks fine and it's is working fine.
The stove is almost like new and everything else works just fine . But this light is driving me crazy. Every wire I folowed to find the problem goes to the back of the oven and to the current source.
Do you have the model number of the stove?
I have a Frigidaire electric stove that is not heating up 100%. I replaced the burners and still not heating up well. What should I do?
Cooktop
how did you determine which switch to replace?
Well when you turn it on and the burner don’t get hot that’s kind of how you determine which one needs to be replaced
