Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. If a Pokémon faints, then it must be permanently boxed.
2. I can only catch the first encounter on each Route.
3. No bag items in battle, except for pokéballs. (Held items are allowed)
4. Must be played on "Set" battle mode.
5. Cannot level over the next gym leader/elite 4's highest level pokémon.
Sleeplocke Rules:
I may not end the stream or go to sleep until the challenge is completed.

I like how he just doesn’t go over the dead Pokémon between the 4th and 5th gym until the main plot of the game was done
for a challenge like this you should put a timer on the screen to give people a better idea of how long it took

Ironically, I think Valerie is the most memorable Gym Leader of Kalos. She's from Johto, and the sister of the guy who made the boxes or something. She used to be a kimono girl over there.
Also for some reason she's the only Gym Leader with a French name, and also the only one not from Kalos ?..
according to gym freaks, she's also hella buff because her clothes are so heavy lmao

in gen 6 when a mon mega evolves it doesn't get the speed change since the move order is decided at the start of the turn

My brother beat this game a long time ago (not nuzLocke) because he accidentally brought a low level abomasnow. All his pokemon got one shot by mega gardevoir moonblast, so he spammed revives and beat the champion with abomasnows snow warning. It was not a proud victory

I'm actually doing a mono Bug-type run. But instead of normal hardlocke rules, the one rule I made for myself was that I could capture any of the Pokemon that is available. So, example is, that I captured both forms of Burmy to evolve them both into Mothim & Wormadam. Sadly, I lost the male one, so no Mothim for me, but I'm actually a bit excited to use Wormadams Sandy Cloak, since there are other Bug/Steel types in Escavalier, Durant and Scizor, and no other Pokemon is a Bug/Ground type besides Nincada, who loses that typing when she evolved into Ninjask and Shedinja. Hope this run goes well for me as did to you, DocZ! Congrats for your win of the locke :)

No but seriously, Ledyba learned Light Screen, Reflect and Safeguard at the same level, and that has really been helpful. I'm not going to lie, it's been fun to use :)

gen 6 is only easy because they give you multiple answers to every issue you may come across, when you restrict your options the difficulty increases DRAMATICALLY

I'm not sure your -Spatk nature mattered. If you did 2/3s, you would have needed a 50% power boost, not just the 10% reduction from being impish. Gardevoir always died there ;-;

It's quite challenging. I have done it but I don't recommend anyone to do it if they love themselves lmao. Compound eyes sleep powder butterfree makes easy work of most battles but it is heavily reliable on haxes

You couldn't even use Mega Evolution since you can't get the Mega Stone for Gardevoir until the Post-Game.

You need to play around the critical hit more. The first death was 100% avoidable aswell. Gonna sub to see if you can approve. Nice clutch at the end
