Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. If a Pokémon faints, then it must be permanently boxed.
2. I can only catch the first encounter on each Route.
3. No bag items in battle, except for pokéballs. (Held items are allowed)
4. Must be played on "Set" battle mode.
5. Cannot level over the next gym leader/elite 4's highest level pokémon.

Probably the hardest monotype nuzlocke I've seen so far
This is cheating, you're supposed to have level caps for every trial and grand trial.

Fun fact: The reason alolan exeggutor is a dragon type is because it's based on myths about dragons shape shifting into palm trees

Alolan Exeggutor is part dragon type because the creator, when he was a child, looked at a coconut tree & thought it was a real dragon. Everyday he would climb the tree hoping it would come alive & take him far away from his abusive parents who made him swallow raw eggs whole with the shells. So now every time he sees eggs he gets traumatised so he turned his fear into his imaginary coconut dragon friend.

Dragon types are very good on paper. Sadly they lack a decent support move pool, which isn't fully compensated by their high base stat total. In addition it takes ages to evolde a dragon type.
this was literally my experience in my first dragon monotype run in this game lol
Love all the Kaiju nicknames you even got gamera and that big turtle not well-known.
Everytime I tell people dragon is my favorite type the assume it's because they're op. In reality I like the designs of the weirder ones and think they'd make for good friends.
It’s not easy finding entertaining nuzlockers, but DocZ is one of few nuzlockors that catch my attention
Honestly, I find Nuzlockes inherently interesting. No two are exactly the same.

@@see5242 dragon is still walled by fairies. fairy types are usually bulky enough to tank a hit from dragon types and can retaliate with a fairy type move them self

He would’ve probably done poorly against primarina if he even had choice specs when he lost because he clicked dragon pulse and primarina is immune
Choice Specs Sludge Wave would have swept the team though.

I love these Nuzlocke challenges. I made a nuzlocke myself on twitch and it’s loads of fun and can even be used in a Hardcore Nuzlocke Challenge as well.
Turtonator is my absolute favorite dragon type, so it satisfies me to see Turtonator kick so much butt. :)

At the end the Primarina was also in torrent range which would explain your calc being wrong as well.

I actually like seeing mons like Naganadal in challenges, i know people usually ban them for power reasons but it's really cool seeing them in action especially considering ultra beasts as a whole are hardly mentioned in challenges.

I am currently attempting to do a nuzlocke on ultra moon only using Pokémon found using the island scan. I chose the ultra games because the normal sun and moon has the chance of getting hidden abilities with my encounters. Wish me luck

Turtanator doesn't resist fairy cause of the dragon typing, it just made it neutral
You should use Salamence and Garchomp, but you use meme sets and nerf them into the potatoes
Dragon types.... a bad offensive and defensive type, but generally has very good pokemon. A positive and a negative, which would make you think it's an okay type, until you realise how stupid overpowered the pokemon actually are. This video was very interesting to see. Good job!
the only problem with drahon types is that they evolve very late, so the first part of the game is quite tough with baby dragons

I actually believe you actually could've won after the mistake. All you had to do was protect when primarina used the z-move. I believe then you wouldve been fine and swept.
Yea but he thought it wouldn’t kill so I think that’s why he didn’t protect
Nah the Zmove damage goes through protect and then I would be died to sparkling aria
@@DocZ protect quarters the z-move damage tho. So that would've made the z-move 48.75 power. (since it can only be based off 1 move, the original base power was always 195) and sparkling aria is 90 BP, that comes to a total power of 138.5, which is about 2/3 of the damage. Pretty sure it would've lived that. Sadly I wasn't there to help you when it happened :(

Mono type is a sheer disadvantage, naganadel probably shouldnt be banned, given its the only mon that dont get destroyed by fairy types
