    A couple of years ago i had someone from Jim's Antennas in Adelaide come out for exactly this problem. Gave me a new cable and a filter ,don't remember what it cost but it was a waste of money cos made absolutely no difference at all. Dunno if it is worth trying again when didn't fix it the first time.

    Hi which tool is used for checking 4G or other interferences on c band signal. Also what filters you have applied to stop them.

    Seems sophisticated. How expensive would it be to have someone do a professional antenna installation with these types of filters?

      Less than you think & worth it once it's done. It really depends on a number of factors, as not all systems are the exact same.
      It's best to just get someone out & give you a quote.

    hello, i put on a LTE 5g filter on my outdoor antenna yesterday morning it worked all day today my whole antenna lost all channels at 8am, and as of 5pm has not came on, Could you shed some light on the issue? The filter was making my channels i got at night only come in during the day. We are having a major heatwave here in ky do you think that may be the cause? Please help

      The ACMA in Australia have allowed these signal to exist very close to each other (in the UHF frequency range), so there's nothing that can be done apart from find solutions. Other countries have done the same, causing a problem that did not previously exist.
      This gives us all better data signals on our mobile devices but creates a problem that then needs to be patched up at TV owners expense!
      I guess this progress??!!...

    My tv turns on and off many times for a minute before it finally stays on fine ( when I want to turn it on ) ...but when I brought it to my neighbor's house few houses down no issues. Can that be 4 G interference ?

      It sounds more like a power issue? Have you tried it at another powerpoint in your house?

    Dear Jim, I have an interference (image pixelation) problem with my TX bluethoot for audio TV diffusion to my speakers (BT). I have only interference with channel of 778Mhz. How is it possible? BT transmits to 2.4Ghz...Harmonic frequencies? The BT TX are near to my TV for audio input cable connection. if I move the TX away from the TV with a very long audio cable the interference is reduced by a lot. How can I solve.. leaving the TX still close to the TV? Is the interference with the TV's electronics or with the antenna signal? Regards

      @Stefano Leone
      Hi.
      I find that some TV's are sensitive to any RF frequency device next to to them. This includes wireless routers, cordless phones and (especially) Google Chromecasts.
      Even though these devices are not on the same TV frequencies they can interfere. Not all TV's do this, so I guess it just depends on the combination of devices used.
      The only solution therefore is to move the RF emitting/receiving device as far away from the TV as possible.
      For Google Chromecast, this involves using an HDMI extension cable to move it away from the back of the TV. If there's any way to move the BT receiver away from your TV, then that's the solution.
      I HOPE THIS HELPS! Ian M.

    What's the second filter you installed??!

    • @tvsetup3859
      @tvsetup3859 6 років тому +1

      The second filter installed is a "Bandpass Filter" that will only let through a specific range of frequencies.
      This is used when you are trying to pick out just one TV transmitter when there are multiple transmitters in the area (all on different frequencies). All you want is the "good" signal from one transmitter, so you're not left watching a weaker signal from somewhere further away (causing the signal to break up).
      This is because the Auto-Scan on the TV doesn't always lock in the best signal. The best solution therefore is to only allow the best signal through.
