A tip. It is best to hook the filter to the antenna itself and not to the tuner end. I had a filter on my tuner and it helped, but it never really fixed the issue completely. Someone recommended moving it to the antenna in the attic and I did, and the difference was dramatic. I now run one on the antenna and one on the tuner and now I have no issue at all. Running two filters will decrease the signal strength, but I get 69 stations and about 60 of those are junk so losing a couple of distant stations is worth the price of getting my primary channels crisp and clear.
I bought my filter off of Amazon Garden in the mail on the 29th I hooked it up and some channels I'm still scrambling and some channels don't come in at all how do you fix it the filter so the channels come in I did a channel scan after I hooked it up some of the channels still scramble and don't come in
I just bought one on amazon get it tomorrow, hope it helps me, the channels in concern i lose during the day but it does occasionally come in, if it was digital it would be fuzzy. so hope this helps me
I just got this Friday for my indoor antenna and it hasn't solved the issue. When people who live above me are moving or walking I cannot get proper reception no matter how I place the antenna with or without the lte filter.
It is from the water in the human body, sadly there is nothing you can do about it except move, or put an antenna outside on your balcony, indoor ones can be used if you are willing and don't let it get wet or make sure it is placed at the top of a window. If you use a flat antenna.
Yes, it blocks all radio signals above rated frequency coming down the cable to your TV. In the US that is pretty much only used with LTE networks, but anything else broadcasting above that frequency is also blocked.
I have an amplifier and a filter connected to my TV and I'm still getting a signal interference when a plane flys over. Do you know what I can do about it?
That is due to the signal being reflected off the plane, I sometimes get the same. It's really difficult to offer a solution without knowing more about where you live, where the TV tower is, local landscape and your antenna. Do you need the amplifier? They amplify the signal but also the noise/interference. You can also head over to AVS Forum and find the forum for your local area. You can probably find someone that can offer local advice.
Here's the problem when you start adding more connections to your line as it starts to degrade the signal strength. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't.
it weakened my signal, did not help at all, it cancelled out some stations, made my signal weaker, waste of my money, hooked it up everyway it could be hooked up with CM antenna outside & booster
make sure it is installed first before any amps or other connectors at the antenna right after the balun. make sure to use quality quad shield coax too. and that product called "stuff" works great for holding back moisture in the connections.. make sure to use an amp right after this unit at the antenna to push the signal down the coax. a big and amplifier will not make signals it just increases what you have now... so yes trap filters work if you are in town or near a cell tower.

What meter is that?
is this fixes my issues with rf interfernce. due to my downlights !! thanks

Do you still have same issue ?
Got any new signal?
@@leonidescastillo7177 I have issue when people are in the room directly above me

Is this supposed to be installed on the side of the TV or the Antenna? Can't seem to get a clear answer on this.
Romsat DVBT2 decoders tend to eliminate cell signals. Tv's have very poor decoders and suffer a lot distubing signals.
@Axel Steiner How much near?
You try. They cost less than 20$.
This sounds like a stupid question, but can it filter out/would it help to block (filter) the other cell signals?
Yes, it blocks all radio signals above rated frequency coming down the cable to your TV. In the US that is pretty much only used with LTE networks, but anything else broadcasting above that frequency is also blocked.
How much and where did you get the Dr HD signal meter/ tester?
It's on sale here: www.titaniumsatellite.com/

me too, or a big truck running Down the road with a loud motor will play havoc with my signal too
Move to a better reception location
@@asianthor stop being an idiot if you can't offer any proper advice don't say anything.
Its called refraction basically the signal is actually reflected by an object not much maybe try moving antanna

I'M GONNA BUY THIS ON AMAZON TODAY! :)
Does this also filter out 5G?

that happen with like 3 amps to me. i guess its necessary a professional to check real issues. i bought this filter and i will test it next week.

So... HOW does it work??? How? What are the circuits? How do those circuits filter an rf frequency band?
You sir answered my questions exactly and i have seen noticable improvement in my tuner performance. Thank you for the demo!
I just put one on my television. Did not make any difference whatsoever
If you search the Internet you can get it do free
Its 5g masts that course it
Waste of time and energy
