  • Aiming an over-the-air RV television antenna can be tedious and time-consuming, especially when far from home and boondocking. Phone apps can fail and cell phone service is often unavailable. This video presents an easy to follow, step-by-step way to accurately aim your RV antenna on the first try using a road map and a common compass.

Hi. Did you ever try tvfool locator? I have used it in the city. But on the road I’m going to get a Road Atlas and compass. It’s lucky I have not been lost relying on my phone for navigation so far. Thanks for the video.

I did try it, but it seemed difficult to get everything lined up. Thanks for commenting.

I have tried them, but it's been a while. As I recall, they both seemed confusing.

i have found the phone apps easy to use, but only if the phones compass has been caliberated.

Thanks for watching and commenting. Maybe I just didn't find the right app, or didn't properly calibrate the compass.

Since you are one of the few people who know what a Yagi is I'll bet you are an amateur radio operator!

Yes, for more than 40 years, I have had a "ham" license. Before that, it was CB, and before that, SWL. Thanks for watching and commenting.
