Thanks. I had to fit an outer window scraper to our VW bus door, and your video was perfect in explaining how to remove the 1/4 window. Much appreciated.
Thanks for this tutorial. I couldn't figure out how to get the door glass out, but because you showed how simple it was to pull the wing window, I was able to remove the wings and then the door glass. Time saved, for sure!
Hey woolies...i have 73 bay window exactly like 1/4 window like yours, and my friends (specialist) in vw. Buses look all over and they couldn't find the little seal. That van is so unique i haven't seen another one in 15 years. I hope you can get me a pair of seals..please dont trow it your used little windows.
Thanks for the tutorial. My question is I have purchased second hand 1/4 windows with spare new rubbers. How do you get the glass out of the frame to replace the rubbers. It looks like the are rivets rather than screws?? Thanks
thank you for this video, it has made the job much easier. I have a question, im replacing the weather stripping in my 3/4 window, but the window is riveted in? do i drill through rivets and replace with screws? I also have the chrome trim work with outer scraper all in one piece, do i put this in first? Thanks again for your help.
Hi iv just had a respray and a Lot of rust removed and filled, I got my t25 back today and the respray job is awful, also the sliding door doesn't lock when open it's about 2inches short of ware it locks, there was a Lot of rust behind the panel so im wondering if it's something do with the work there.they did say they never took the door off. I was charge more than what was 1st agreed the van was gone for 7 months Can i do a small claims for this.can anyone advise.
There’s something weirdly cinematic about this video, perhaps it’s the sound, perhaps it’s the camera, perhaps it’s the voice, but I feel like I’m watching a 1980s how to video via blue Peter or pathe newsreel or something like that. I keep thinking this is a vintage clip.
WHY...tell me WHY would you want to put in a solid 1/4 window in. I love the ability to have fresh air blowing in strong from that little window. If someone wants to break in they can easily break the solid just as they would the original. Or am I missing something.
Thanks for the tutorial man!! Helped me! Big up!

Woolie, you the man!
Be sure to put an escutcheon behind the window crank so you don’t destroy your door panel from winding the window.
Nice video except for all of the wrestling with the window trim was off camera. Any chance you would consider doing another one of these?
nice one matey just couldn't remember how to fit the glass slider and the window glass! problem sorted!
Edde Sagar no worries buddy

Ive got it. I saw someone else had a window trim replacement video, and he drilled through and re-riveted.
thanks for up loading. where did you get original parts? i ve got a t2 68 and looking for replacements. many thanks james
I like either VW Hertitage or Just Kampers for my spares
great vid..thanks..how do i get the big glass out,any video on that.?
s o mah, I removed the wing first and then pulled the big glass very easily.
Try taking the pull handle cover from the other end and you will not damage as is likely the way you removed it.
Anyone know where to order these assemblies for less than a million dollars?

Thanks I'm glad you liked the clip.
Man, lose the loud music, so you can be heard. Other than that, pretty helpful info.
