somewhere else it was stated that they have to pay ist to perform their music. but who knows what's behind the scenes and what did they agree upon after all? 🤷♀

I don’t think so since IST let The Boyz use the trademarks for free. It seems the new company is just bitter they can’t take full control of it. I think this arrangement is better for the members since it’s them that got free access to their previous works not the new company. Besides I feel like if IST ever decides to sell all the rights it should be the members given first dibs so even if they move around agencies they can just carry it around smoothly. However, it’s too early to tell how things will pan out but the new agency making a very public hissy fit about it gives me the ick. We have yet to see how the new agency will treat The Boyz but they have big shoes to fill as IST has always given the members big budget productions & amazing outfits. Fans were also well fed with content, tours & merch so I don’t understand where this IST hate train is coming from?!
@@ynnos5555 the use of trademarks is not for free. did you not watch the video? there are conditions where ist would still make money off the boyz! we don't really know what is written in that contract! owning trademark rights always leads to a legal fight. new had to message the b to tell the truth because of the lies of ist (it's literally in the video!)! which company is actually bitter? you don't understand why ist is hated? are you a truly a fan of them (meaning that you keep up with the boyz content) not to notice the things that happened and see other fans commenting about mistreatment? go ask someone who has been a fan of them for the past 7 years and they will tell you. i am a new fan of them but i noticed the song line distribution for gibberish and trigger for some members (lack of it) and how little screen time some got in the mvs. another thing, during their world tour they had to film for the trigger mv! i watched the behind the scenes for trigger and the members were so exhausted. and during trigger promotions they said they didn't sleep much! like very few hours! that is not normal! (i know how the kpop industry works)
