- The LEGO HOBBIT theme had some of the best lego sets in the early 2010s with absolutely timeless sets such as the unexpected gathering, the lonely mountain among many more.
So I thought I would rank every LEGO HOBBIT SET ever made and give my opinions on each set and the minifigures within each set.

I’ve started collecting Lego despite having missed over 20 years worth of sets due to not being born in the right time. After the Jurassic park stuff I’m going for fantasy lines like the hobbit, thanks for the information!

To this day, I'm surprised and disappointed that we never got bigfigs of the armored war-trolls, either in lego LOTR or the Hobbit. It's a shame - modern lego would definitely do a brick-built design rather than use a special mould (which are worse in my opinion).
A brick built troll would be a travesty 🤮
My sister-in-law sold me the unexpected gathering set for 20 dollars, i then gave it to my girlfriend. Really a great set that appealed to such a wide audience.

The fig in Mirkwood Elf Army has the same hair mold and weapons but yeah not Tauriel funnily
