just had to replace my mirror thanks to someone opening their door when i was driving and knocked it clean off, nice video, helped me a lot, garage wanted £100-160 , bought a replacement, £25 :)

I was quoted £180 to replace my drivers side wing mirror. After seeing this video, I decided to do it myself. I bought the replacement wing mirror on Ebay for just under £24 - happy days.

Could you please tell me how to recover it ? If I can't, can I buy a new one anywhere ? I'd appreciate sooo much if you could give me an answer !!
I thought so ;_; My uncle told me to shove a cloth or something to avoid losing it next time... apparently it can easily be found in most hardware store though. Thanks for your answer !
Shame on me !! I just lost 3 screws inside the door :-) but the new Mirror Looks good ! Now i will always be reminded when i drive over a bump ! cheers from germany

Very good video, toyota wanted £135 to fit drivers door mirror, bought it off EBay for £19.45 free delivery and fitted it myself, thanks !!!!!!!!

I also need a replacement, but I cannot find one in the yellow color. A paint job is very expensive. How did you find yours in the color?

Can the adjustment level be repaired? Seems a bit wasteful to replace the whole unit for that.

Bought a new one on eBay, took the old one off, but the bolts won't screw all the way into the new mirror. Absolute nightmare.
