Outstanding Car ! Outstanding Performance ! Outstanding Price ! However, and that is where the whole democratization of Performance and Luxury comes in, it also means that ALL new performance cars and luxury brands WILL be depreciated. Fast. Performance EVs will become the equivalent of an Apple Watch Vs an Analogue Rolex (Analogue Cars) Xiaomi will succeed for now in selling their high performance car at 100K . The next model, next competitor, WILL offer more, for less. And so on. And presto, there will no longer be such a thing, as a luxury performance car. Only very little hand built very low volume bouquique items. If you have any investments in "Exotic Cars" I would strongly reccomend an exit stratgegy as the bells have already been rung.
Luxury cars will always exist , like a Bently or Rolls Royce , you cannot compare a xiaomi with these level of luxury. Performance wise, i agree it will be a whole new level....

Why buy a finely tuned, European-Made Pedigree Investment Grade Masterpiece as a life achievement, when the Made in China copy is faster and cheaper, and can be Kuadi-ed to you directly from Haidian . Changchun or Baoding in 2 weeks? Heck even "Tito on the other side of town" can now afford a his very own high performance vehicle . Fair right ?
Xiaomi should've run a regular lap with the SU7 Ultra and not with some dubious prototype. Aero can make huge differences and you can clearly see, what Xiaomi did there. Also comparing Euro and Renminbi, exchange value aside, the Yuan is probably undervalued by up to 40% against the Euro. So the "true" Euro price is quite a bit higher compared to the value derived from simple exchange rates. Nevertheless, hats off to Xiaomi, pretty impressive first car.
@@JaydenTYX have you seen the aero kit (front splitter, wing)? No way, this is even close to the production model. Also dampers and so on. This is a track specific car, maybe they used the battery and motors in the production model, but is Xiaomi providing the exact setup used at the Nürburgring to customers or did they use a custom map, which won't be even close to production because the car's longlevity couldn't be ensured? That's you as a customer shouldn't fall for marketing stunts.
Chinese makers do a lot of ‘dishonest’ marketing. There was that air suspension video, you could see that the bumps the Western cars drove over were much bigger, making them look less smooth.
yes the MSRP for their rubbish EVs looks like a joke in China and they are losing it like crazy. BMW i3 again sold only 180000RMB again in China and the MSRP is ridiculously 350000. LOL
Another EV that in NO way is going to save the world.... Nice looking car though... Would be nice if you could get an everyday driver sensible version with about 4000 horsepower and really really good range.
What‘s the whole point of the Lap of Nordschleife? It was some highly modified prototype on slicks, so not comparable to the road car. Probably they new the road version would be completely cooked by Porsche Taycan Turbo GT!
I bet it won't run a sub 7min time in production trim! Congrats to Xiaomi though this is insane for the time frame. I heard they we're involved with the killer little ssc sc01 2dr ev sports coupe starting at 41k with awd 1400kg and 450+hp!
Rimac Nevera did 7:05 in production trim, so very unlikely to better this, I would have thought. The limiting factor is always the tyres, especially those on road legal ones, and even Cup 2 R and Trofeo R can only cope with a certain amount of abuse.
To clarify: Pre-order price is 105k EUR, not the 70-77k EUR predicted in the video. But we expect the final MSRP to be lower than the pre-order price.

it also means that ALL new performance cars and luxury brands WILL be depreciated.
Fast.
Performance EVs will become the equivalent of an Apple Watch Vs an Analogue Rolex (Analogue Cars)
Xiaomi will succeed for now in selling their high performance car at 100K .
@@justethical280
Exactly .
Only very few hand built very low volume boutique ultra high luxury items made to spec. (Not sure Rolls and Bentley Still qualify in that category)
Anything else like BBA, Porsche, Maserati, Aston Martin, JLR, Corvette, and some of Ferrari etc is ALL on the chopping block.
SU7 ultra just break Nürburgring record
These calipers are not BBK but HBK - Huge brake kit 🙂
Xiaomi should've run a regular lap with the SU7 Ultra and not with some dubious prototype. Aero can make huge differences and you can clearly see, what Xiaomi did there. Also comparing Euro and Renminbi, exchange value aside, the Yuan is probably undervalued by up to 40% against the Euro. So the "true" Euro price is quite a bit higher compared to the value derived from simple exchange rates. Nevertheless, hats off to Xiaomi, pretty impressive first car.
早就说量产版本3月去跑纽北了
they said production car will run in 2025
It’s basically the production car without interior. For sure with racing set up in addition
Make a completely stripped, half cage, carbon fiber for every panel with aggressive GT3 aero as a top spec version.
Sick. Shut up and take my money.
Have they fixed brakes, thin windows, and other issues in the normal version of this car?
yes
Porsche and Audi is so overpriced
yes the MSRP for their rubbish EVs looks like a joke in China and they are losing it like crazy. BMW i3 again sold only 180000RMB again in China and the MSRP is ridiculously 350000. LOL
Not they are not because the staff earns good money in germany not like chinese workers
@@oxidalpha6350we are at the age where robot works for the Chinese; instead of German workers works for German.
@@oxidalpha6350bro you Indian? 😂
@@AdamJRowen lol its not about the staff in the production puting cars together. Its more about engineers and the high paid.
I know design inspired from McLaren and Porsche, but the implementation of inspiration is perfect and well balanced
lighter than m5 , x2 power of m5
yes,m5 is very heavy
@@PersenZ So heavy that actually the top of the line I5 EV is lighter and imo a better choice. But tis Xiaomi is just insane...
Damnnnnnnnnnnn🎉
Dammm cheap 😂
It looks very different from the one we saw on the track.
European manufacturers are screwed.
If they would have kept the aero (maybe not road legal) it would have smoked every traditional car manufacturer in style!
Anyone notice how many weights they had to tack on to balance the wheels? Not exuding precision manufacturing there
Another EV that in NO way is going to save the world....
WoW!!
Just make sure you have space to apply the brakes. prefferably with no walls around
Xiaomi cars come to Australia 🙏😂
Slick!
Just wait for the brakes to cook themselves after 5 minutes
Ill wait for the SU7 Ultra Pro Max! 😂
The question is, why do I want 1500 hp in this moderately sized sport sedan?
Show off with a budget
Nice mobile phone.
Janis Joplin: 'Oh Lord won't you buy me a...WHAT?'
If 30 years ago you entrusted China with the production of your essential tech products, today what you’d see wouldn’t just be an electric car.
Ford CEO also gonna import this car?
I will buy a house in china just to buy, drive, and store one!
Can a Bugatti Veyron perform 2 laps of green heaven under wot?
the königsegg gemera will probably also be a comfortable 1000 hp + car
And how much would that cost sir? 😂
@@AdamJRowen yes
I saw this in Sharjah 2 days ago 😂
McLaren 765LT + Porsche Taycan = SU7 design
0-100km/h at 1.98 seconds
Cool car but the configuration I'd like to see has 2x 8V or 1x 6V + 1x 8V motors with a ~150 kWh battery 🙂
what limit your dream?why not 4*v8s motor ,4*578hp=2300 hp in a car?
Does it come with 5G?
Definitely
I had to read the BHP numbers more than twice. Wtf!?
In yellow it looks a lot like a modern day cab. 😂
