Man those big guys in the ring can move! What's their weight class. Taz is good man but those full power headhunt shots in sparring are scary

For real, definitely not someone I’d train with. Just not worth it, you dont need FULL power and intention in sparring to still get intense and hard fight level sparring. Ease off if someones about to get hit with a very hard shot, etc. You don’t condition your chin, you dont get “used” to getting hit with big shots. Save your chin for the fight. The less big shots and damage you take in sparring, the more you will have to give in the fight. And surround yourself with other intelligent people like that.

@@cadcc usually people that never spar hard fight just as sloppy as they spar. Hard sparring is just a tool, like light and technical sparring. There is a time and place for it, beginner do more and advanced fighters do less. But to say nobody should do is completely nonsense. That’s not real or a indication of what happen on gyms around the world where professionals fighters get their training. It’s more of a narrative online, created by people that are not professionals or train only 1 hour per day for a few times per week.
