- Nothing says street food like smokey Indonesia ribs! In Makassar, that means one thing: Konro Bakar (barbeque beef ribs). Join us as we try Konro Bakar (grilled beef ribs) and Sop Konro (beef rib soup) tonight! The grilled ribs are topped with a special Indonesian peanut sauce. The kids will show you the best way to eat them and which are their favorites. After dinner, we surprise the kids with a special dessert!

@@jasminebali8068 what I mean the similarity of their kids age and the gender as well..and yes Jonathan is rich alright..he travel around the world to exotic locations with 3 kids..Labuan Bajo and Raja Ampat are not cheap and he will continue to travel to Nepal,Pakistan and India..they just flew from Iceland with Emirates so yeah they are RICH..

Wow this is my late grandfather's hometown Gowa Makassar. Went there in late 2019 wish that they gonna reopen the border soon so that we can go back home and visit our families and relatives again 🇲🇾✌️🇮🇩

@@BagsPackedFamily Yes it is safe since the government already banned the prostitution industry in that province which again safe for kids and female solo traveller. Btw try experience the beach as well...few of my uncle's re govt officers there in Makassar City. He even says that you need at least 4 days to explore the whole city of Makassar in Sulsel 🇮🇩

Whenever there is time, try to eat Makassar's special food, namely Soup Brother Assauna, there are 4 branch points of the stall where to eat, there is also Makassar Coto, dry noodles or Titti noodles, and many other typical Makassar foods.

Makassar's Grilled ribs/konro bakar(kobar) is irreplaceable, the sauce, the ribs is so tender and rich of flavors. Karebosi is the place to find the best one. Your son also has amazing review on the culinary.

It's nice to see children enjoying food they usually didn't eat. I have cousin from USA come to visit me in Indonesia once, I serve them coto Makassar and konro bakar too but they said they didn't like it. In the end I just feed those kids McDonald's until they return to USA.
