I did finally discover that. The thing with the yellow wire was what they told me when I explain the situation. Customer Service was good with the company and they did send me another set of lights.
both of my light pods turned yellow and white and im not sure how to fix it i just want them to be amber but whenever i go to the usual amber mode the white doesnt turn off.
I had to unhook the wires to reset them. If you contact the company they are quick about helping... I eventually took them off and put some bigger KCs on.
Any idea how to get the mode unstuck? The switch will not change modes only pause the light as if it was to tranaition. Switch or relay maybe? Tried interchanging switches between the two pairs and still nothing.
Have you tested them on the trail? Are they bright at night in the amber Color? do they improve visibility? Thanks. Great video, Look forward to the next repair Video.
Yes we have - I had some issues with the Sync process because I put my wires under the wiper plate. The company sent a replacement set right away. Our night ride had some on one of the Jeeps. I like the amber fog setting at night. I'll do a Short on them soon.
I understand The lights you bought come with the switch that just clicks between different modes I just recently purchased the same style of lights with the click switch. How would I wire those into my “SPOD “style switch module For them to work as they were meant to work by clicking through to get the different lighting modes?
The right tool for the job… a sledge hammer is great for freeing up stuck parts on turf equipment or driving a wedge when cutting down a tree. But smashing a walnut would only be cool with a good slow motion camera.

Or you could press and hold the mode button for 3 or 6 seconds and it will sync them.
Sometimes that works, for me, sometimes it doesn't. I may have a short in the harness.

I think I had to hold the button, also I hooked one up and then after I had the right display I hooked up the other.

I was wondering could u have it to where the amber flashes with a turn signal and the whites are with the brights?
That I’m not sure of. I had replaced them and not put them back on. They also sent me another pair that I have not put installed yet

so if you only wanted the solid white mode, how would you do that?
There are a bunch of different companies making inexpensive lights for jeeps. I finally broke down and bought some KC highlighters.
