      Djinji used to be my businesse's neighbor , used to have a shooting studio right next to his box gym , I always wandered where his altruistic/artistic roots came from , now I know where from , incredible roots I say

    I use to blast this stuff working the graveyard shift. everyone thought I was nuts, but it kept us awake! haha.

    Absolutely wonderful. Marion was an underappreciated great. Nice to see him in the context of this beautiful film, and NYC in the late '60s.

    That's exactly the way it was in the New York City Lower East Side music scene in 1967. Great film short. Marion Brown - alto sax, Norris Jones - bass, Dave Burrell - piano, Bobby Kapp - drums. "You See What I'm Trying To Say?" is Marion's head.
