Old School rapper could of talked about a situation but they were always clever with the word play and lingo. New School will give you the situation verbatim.
💯% you nailed it
💯Homie ✊🏾
And put the SCHITT directly on FB and YT.
That is why I love the Og story telling, new school will have cases piled up on them.
Co-sign. Eiht/Scarface/Cube were all about being the best story tellers on Wax without tying it to specific figures on the block. So it was (more) fictional based on what they (might) have experienced. #TheArtOfStoryTelling🤘🏾
So good to see the OG’s back at it with the podcast.
You right about last the last comment yall still got fire 🔥. I was wrong.
Facts. And ya man eiht still got them bars and quality music as well. Coming from a nyc dude
I appreciate you brothers having this conversation speaking truth to power and enlightening these young cats cause they need it…
Peace & love LA , CHICAGO ,NYC, MIAMI, TEXAS, MICHIGAN, BAMA, TENNESSEE, ATL, ARIZONA, MISSOURI, LOUISIANA, ZIPP ,CANADA JERSEY VIRGINIA, DMV , SA's ETC
much respect to all we need each other/ we respect/ we love each other real talk!!!!!!
TGC, I appreciate ya'll being back on UA-cam
“Let me say this and Imo end mines” The whole world been waiting on a collaboration between Eiht and Quik. And not just a fucking song. A cd! It wouldn’t matter how it sounded. I’m buying it. Cheahh!
They have one on the Rosecrans album
Str8 facts
They put one out years ago
@@christopherfinleybey969 it was one that was suppose been on balance n options it was like 13 mins long eiht saafir sly boogie kam king tee quik n a bunch of other cats
@@JayThaBoss And he even put the g in Eihts name on the Rosecrans Album, I thought that was cool and slick 😂
Let’s get that Quik and Eiht album going… I know I’m not the only one wanting that. Snoop got Deathrow now right? Let’s get that cracking!
That'll be sick AF!! If they get that done.. that'll be a classic fasho under Death Row Records
And in that order, G!
With the G-Funk style beat of course.
That would be a good collaboration between Quik & Ehit for all of those who are fans of those brothers.
However there has to be some level of growth & maturity in both of their mindsets, what i mean by that is both Quik & Ehit are in their 50's so i as a 42 years old Black man i damn sure do not want to hear as most people (the intelligent ones) do not want to hear two men in their 50's rapping about still gang banging, shooting n-words, killing n-words, fighting n-words, committing crimes, slinging dope or selling drugs...i do not want to hear that from these young boys out here rapping.
@@tamirsharif314 You’re younger than me, but I definitely agree with you. I feel the same way about snoop, cube, dre, all those 90’s rap cats. But they still talk like they 20, lol. Married, kids in their 20’s, living in the hills and all. Lol. But you’re right. Now that I think about it, I have no idea what they would even talk about@Quik and Eiht. It’s not like they were ever political or anything conscious. Just gang/hood music. Maybe a few party tracks or something. They both still rap on other peoples albums though. I always randomly come across one of them featured on something.
Good to see y'all back. For real.
Salute Glad to see yall back on
Great piece again fellas. This was a real one. Valid points 4 Sho. Salutes

Wouldn't have been a DJ quick nor MC eight if there had been a such thing as social media back then. Life is literally at your face nowadays.
Wouldn't mind hearing an eiht and quik song or mixtape but salute to steele mob james and my boy eight we come strap one of my favorite albums
“A f*cked up childhood is why the way I am”
Funny how I never knew about the beef. Always been a fan of both. This makes me realize the subliminal side of the music we hear.
These Young Niggaz Be Snitching On They Self On Social Media
That's Factual is hard as hell Eiht!!!!
Eiht is correct. I tell folks all the time it's not just shit talking anymore. It used to be the entourage that got rappers in trouble. Now the rapper is the shooter. That's a fact
Kill and tell🤣😂😆 that’s what I call it!!
Oh
And that new Mc Ehit album yall go grab that. It’s freaking dope all the way through. Can’t wait till he puts out the hard copies
The whole problem is lack and loss of Common sense
Tru + 1 other important ingredient facts
Electronic
@@craigsorrell6572 what u mean...
Common sense ain’t always common when it comes to gangbangin! That’s why so May are dead
The problem is These Rappers!!!
It was by the goodness of God quick and eight are still alive.. and fans of hip hop are glad for that... time to mentor the next generation
Let's keep it a buck though... these new rappers literally telling real stories there apart of. It's not "free speech" it's "dry snitching", at its most obvious. Love seeing the OGs on UA-cam these days.
straight up menace first song i ever memorized born in 85
Facts
Reminds me of that song by WESTSIDE CONNECTION "Superstar(DOUBLE MURDER EQUAL DOUBLE PLATINUM). Cube said, "EVERYBODY KNOW JAIL RECORDS SELL RECORDS. IMMA CATCH CASE, GO TO COURT, NIGGA, BAIL NAKED
So some years back I saw KRS-1 speaking to a group of mostly college kids and someone asked him a tech related question about thee internet & doing crimes on thee internet. His response was so CLEAR, so SIMPLE, so TRUTHFUL, & ect! He responded by asking the group "WHAT DO NETS DO?" Then Kris answered his own question because nobody in the group had an answer! Kris said "NETS CATCH THINGS!" There was more to his speak I watched but its something I'll never forget hearing him say! Peace*Love*Music From Seattle Y*all! ~206
I believe MC Eight. The industry is filled with WWE-like antics. So it's only right to know the real situations from the irrelevant ones. The industry did a good job masking reality with scripts and storylines to push narratives (hip-hop beef/death = more album sales). But this one cannot be denied as being what the OG, MC Eight, had stated in the corresponding video in perpetuity to the songs, videos, etc, pertaining this beef.

Out of respect, you should atleast spell Eiht’s name right

That was a real thing back in the early 90's. Even in my section, there was certain music you couldn't bump without being looked at sideways. Dudes would definitely get at you !

Yes indeed. I came up thru the 80's on up and it's definitely a good thing that it's watered down.
@@lowbo47omsascotave really tho bro, gang bangin is dead. Them injunctions and the evolution of technology made it hard. No chillin in the park like thay, cant mob 20 deep down the street, no chillin on the corners posted up.. cameras everywhere... whats crazy is we get locked up with enemies, become cool and good friends and get out and still be cool lookin out so.now its like, what was we really doin it for?
When do they start talking about Quik and eiht???

Mc 8ight , my Partner Droop R.I.P FAVORITE RAPPER DAYTON OHIO " GEM 💎 CITY"
8 was hanging with celly cell a few years ago... Y'all need celly cell on here 💯💯💯
Yeah I agree with you. It's a generational thing. It's the media age .yup gangsters should not be on social media period. When I was a kid I didn't even like people taking pictures of me at some party. That shit could be used as evidence that I was somewhere. That's true because those movies were influenced by the streets so it was actually the other way around. But now it's different. Now influenced by the movies and the music. Especially across the country where there wasn't as many gangs before that. Gangs from the west coast started in LA and new York. Different types of gangsters just like different types of gangsters in the south. Different rules and shit. Different communities across the country are way different. And in my opinion it has a lot to do with how large the population is and how condense is it. Like in the south everything is spread out so you can move different compared to over populated communities. I could not imagine living in New York. People living on top of each other in a building. I couldn't live like that. I would be in a bad attitude all the time. I'd rather have space so I could see them coming from a distance and not around the corner. I'd rather see them first before they they see me. Shit serve them first. Just my humble opinion. I used to bump mc8 . That was some hard shit.
#TruSpokenWords💎
The Problem is the Thirst for Clout and validation is so desperate that Rappers are literally self snitching just as the cartoon " The Boondocks " foretold 15 years ago.
Still got it to.
I'm bout to download the music from mc eiht RN he still solid frfr and just know my homies BM always said I reminded her of him in menace a long time ago 😂🤣😂😂🤣😂🤣
I want that Menace 2 Society hoodie MC Eiht got on..
People must understand this is called the entertainment industry. The making of music is not your personal diary it is for entertainment purposes only. But now a days these street thugs try to use excuses to solidify your actions or reactions in the business world. This will not last the test of time against politics (I'm just saying). Plus, once you sign a major recording deal you are signing a deal with the federal government to use your body, look, name and stage names to try to get air play over the government overall streaming system.
I'm almost 56 yrs old live 2 hrs from L.A BUT!... Quik got Eiht on Dollaz N Sense. I still have my 2 copies on record of that diss. Quik was the FIRST one that banged on dissed on Wax. I have ALWAYS rolled with The Blue BUT Quik got'em on Dollaz N Sense UA-cam that Classic if you never heard it b4 you'll be bang'n in 2022 like it was the 1990's again.
Yeah but the Eiht came back with Death Wish 4. After that, Quik look soft by coming out with Youz A Gangsta No I'm Not. Then he looked all feminine in that album. Eiht still kept it G till this day.

Eiht hit it right on the money. Want to keep out of trouble or keep a secret? Do it by yourself. Not endorsing anything for the record.
oyonder However if you are doing wrong that involve stealing from people, or hurting people or killing people then bad karma will eventually deal with you while you are on planet earth & once you die.
