Him and Big Steele
Good to see HiC speaking… rap legends like him NEEd their voices heard nowadays. Let these youngsters know what’s what. Real music. Real street cats. Real connections across the color lines. Red and Blue make green. We need to control our situations and operate efficiently together. Communicate, and resolve our issues privately.
Great interview OG’s. Shout out Tony A. Rip Steve Yano and rodium and Compton swap meet and VIP records in the LBC. Shout out Julio G and 1580 Kday and rip Eazy. 88 boomin Bass! Banger. Me too!! I legit had EVERY Quik CD.. then mfer stole my CD case. Heartbroken. Best believe hes on my Pandora tho. I was just playing "Skanless" off the Quik Is The Name album.. my favorite cut aside from "Locced Out Hood"..
Skanless is classic. Tony A gave Hi-C the best album of his life. If he does any new s7^^, he needs to put featuring Tony A on his s*&&^ and have Tony A do all the beats.
💯
"I am the crof, da C.R.A.W.Ford, ya boy Hi-C"... He's one of my favorite rhymers from California!

Shout out to HiC and that whole camp. Quik, ATL, Mausberg (RIP), Suga Free, BlackTone, and 2nd2None. CMW, ICET, NWA, etc… west coast legends. Dudes who put the west coast on the map in the rap game. But that’s facts, and I’d LOVE to see Quik and Eiht do an album. Featuring that whole original camp. From both sides.
