Etc. Mfs probably would wear like a Lil 14kt. Gold link necklace that cost few hundred. But nobody was wearing 50k diamond necklace or watch. Not until cash money records came out, then everyone wanted the Rolex and the foreign. The Lexus bubble or Benz etc. And the trucks was in like Tahoe or Yukon. Then that's when the escalade came out. I'm a L7. I'll never forget one of the most dangerous moments of my life😧 was in Los Angeles I think it was in the blood part of South Central, (this is over 20 years ago) when a OG blood got in my face and checked me for recording his Red Corvette, he had a big ass revolver hanging out his pocket near his hand and he was acting like he wanted to pull it on me.
little did I know the street politics that I ended up getting verification on in Menace2Society, you can't record people's cars cuz( just like the white man was doing to the dude that cane pistol whipped)they'll send pictures around of a car that they want stolen😧, me being from FresnoCA I had no idea that I was violating that man🤷 and could have lost my life if I chose to "GET TOUGH" with him.
I didn't. I turned the camcorder off and told him it was no big deal my mistake, but my heart was beating and I was so scared I wanted to cry afterwards you got to remember I was a teenager and this was a full grown buff man that could have probably beat me down without the pistol and he was wearing all brown I didn't understand that in my city the blood wore flashy things and red, only way I could tell he was a blood was from his red rubber bands but he had on a brown khaki suit
