I can't throw this disc to save my life but it got my 47 year old cousin in to the game and loving it. It's such a great disc for beginners to be able to keep it on the fairway and not have to play from the trees constantly like what always happens when new people throw drivers. He can throw it 200-250 feet on hyzer, straight, or turnover lines consistently which goes a long way up here in New England courses. I prefer a Zone for most shots in that range.
If a disc doesn't work for me both forehand and backhand I won't throw it. The glitch is the worst forehand disc I have ever thrown. I'll stick with the Berg for this slot.
I should have picked this up instead of the resistor in glow. The only thing it resists is my ability to throw it. Only mvp disk I've acquired that is truly disappointing.
I have a Glitch in the Eclipse plastic (161g) that flies similar but a little more overstable. I probably wouldnt want it any heavier since it would likely fly different. The stiffer plastic gives it a more substantial feel and doesn't distort when it lands on edge or hits a tree. I found out that the neutron soft plastic can survive an extended period of time in snow, ice and sub zero temps since I lost to last fall and recently found it once the brush died back and snow melted.
i don't think it has anywhere near 7 glide. people think its glidey cuz it hangs in the air. That's not glide thats speed or a lack of it. I never seen or thrown a putter that has more than 4 glide. Most putters have 2-3 glide and the Glitch is no different in my book.
Reasonable take for sure. I think I woulda set it around 5. You could make the argument that a discs ability to fly straight contributes to the glide number cause it keeps hanging rather than fading out. It's tricky. Keystone and the Dagger also both have a lot of glide and they are 5.
@@DiscGolfNerd I see what your saying. It can be hard to determine glide when we also have a turn rating. Sexton says its difficult to separate glide and turn, they both kinda increase and decrease together. so its hard for me to believe a disc can have 0 turn but 7 glide too. I think the glide hype around the glitch is cuz its so slow. so to get any D out of it you gotta throw it high. since you gotta throw it high and its slow it looks like its hanging in the air more than other discs. But this is true for any slow disc. Keystone and Dagger are pretty glidey putters but I also think their kinda on the slow end of the speed 2 spectrum (especially the dagger) and that can make them seem glidey like a Glitch. Most glide ive experienced in a putter is the Swan Reborn. This was fun for me to write. its cool to see you respond. ain't no thing if you disagree. I love your channel.
@@derpderpin1568 glide is just misleading marketing. what people think is a glidey disc, is a just an understandable disc. there aren't any discs on the market that have a low glide number (1 or 2 glide) and a high turn number -3 or -4 cuz they are one in the same.

I already bagged a glitch and know all about it, just tuning in because your content always rocks! Keep on keeping on dude!
Thank you! Appreciate that

I think I have a dyed glitch in the inventory I would sell you for cheap if you need one. Email me or dm me on Instagram
Love it!

Oh cool. Wasn't aware they made glow ones. Might have to try that. Thanks for sharing.
@@DiscGolfNerd The Eclipse Glitch was part of the 2023 gyroplooza box so I dont think they are in regular production yet.
So late.
Fair

weird wrong take, staying in the air is glide.
