Here's the context for the screaming at 15:10 😂 me, my cousin's and brother have a long standing doubles rivalry. We were up by 1 stroke and parked hole 18 for par. The other team had to throw in a 150 footer to tie it up and.... they hit it on their last shot. It was unbelievable to say the least 😅
so stoked to see the boys on the channel. also...the sound of that aluminum glitch crashing through the trees is one of the funniest things i've heard in a while.
Dude the sound of that disc leaving your hand and hitting branches and bridges got me cracking up so much!! Freakin' Aluminum disc, LOL. Thank you as always for the video!
Same! That first throw disappeared behind the trees and I remember thinking, "Hmm. Maybe these will catch on. They are a lot heavier so the wind would -- " CLANG! BANG! Don't know if they actually did but it felt like everyone ducked. Someone said it sounded like a car crash! I chuckled over this for about five straight minutes. Can you imagine a course full of people throwing those discs? (It would be hella dangerous, too.)
It was great just seeing everyone laughing and having fun. That disc is a riot and as a one off, its absolutely absurd and I love it 😂. It was also awesome to see the Bogey Bros on the channel. The combination of all of the energy all three of yall have is fantastic. This is easily one of my favorite videos on your channel. I kept laughing throughout the video.
I love MVP for their crazy ideas. Only their mad scientists would create an aluminum disc that actually flies well! Incredible vid, love see foundation boys collab
My Favorite Pro and my Favorite UA-cam channel I was so shocked to see them in the opening part of the video loved every second of it you guys made my day!
Simon, thank you for another fantastic vlog creation! You are magician of content! Who else would be able to ask his sponsor MVP, to make an aluminum Glitch....? Yes, it was rhetoric question. Bogey Bros are becoming very good disc golfers. Enjoy it allot! Danke schön.
Heavier discs are more stable because gyroscopic stability is stronger due to more mass rotating, causing a stronger centripetal force, so they don't turn, but the shear force of gravity compensates linearly with the mass of the disc when it starts to drop (it falls faster because it's denser), meaning the fade is largely unaffected. Variance in the production process and flaws within the plastic dominates that variation if we're talking 172 or 175 grams, but with a jump from 160 (normal glitch) to 340, it's the other way around. I'm assuming you get the same amount of spin on the heavier discs as the light ones here, of course.
I was there to experience the course when you rolled up to meet the bogey bros! I just want to say that RS you drive sounds great! Great course and cool to see everyone!
“I’m getting some enjoyment out of it. Not gonna lie.” Had me rolling! 😂 Ty all for one of the best collabs of all time! First video I’ve watched more than twice.
LMFAO 3:09 when they say predictions after simon says first ever aluminum disc throw. Right after trevor says predictions he just looks at him like wtf im simon lizotte. its going to be decent lmao
I just imagine you're playing maple hill gold, you hear a light cackle of a few guys followed by a mighty loud "TANG" as the aluminum glitch hits a tree
Fade occurs when the weight of the disc exceeds the aerodynamic lift. I terms of a wing, the disc "stalls". The heavy disc is flying slower, so it has less lift right out of your hand, then it loses speed to drag at the same rate a normal glitch would. Since it weighs much more and is moving significantly slower, the aluminum disc slows to its stall speed much faster than a plastic disc would. It's really the same phenomenon as when I, with my noodle arm, throw a 175g overstable disc. It seems much more stable than the flight numbers indicate because it's moving so slowly.
It was fun seeing the bogeys bros on your channel. I saw that they were in your video and I was like WHAT, it was fun to see you guys at maple Hill. I definitely want to go play some time.
Had a blast! Thanks for having us on the channel!
no way this just made my day
Let's go boys!
Are you guys doing any other courses while you're in the area?
Never lost a Bogey Bros series had me rolling

"You guys ever lose on your bogey bros series?"...Slight pause "no we are undefeated" lmao

Only the bogey bros fans know lmao

This has promise for any vision impaired/blind disc golfers.
It was great just seeing everyone laughing and having fun. That disc is a riot and as a one off, its absolutely absurd and I love it 😂.

Foundation bros + insane mvp discs, this is the most fun Simon vid in a long time!
8:26 “There’s really only one tree to miss down there” Simon says, and hits two trees 🌲 with the disc… 😂❤😂
The new "Do Not Catch Glitch!" 😂
Also "GYRO NOVERMOLD TECHNOLOGY" and only 1 glide instead of 7 😆
The catch disc that catches you.
