I bought one from Blackstone website and I also bought the spatulas and gripper that goes with it. I spent close to $200 total. Worth every penny. I use mine all the time. Practically every meal is made on it. I rarely use my stove anymore. I also have a Blackstone griddle outside. I am in Texas so I’m waiting for the weather to cool down a little so I can start using it more.
The Walmart I frequent had at least 3. I was seriously debating on getting it the whole time I was there. Finally gave in and got one. I'm loving it so far, I cooked a few burgers on it, and damn they were good. I kinda wanted the gas one, but I've never worked with gas grills or griddles. So I was a little intimidated by it.
Hey Keith! Sorry I haven't been around. I had had the covid for a whole freakin month and since then I've been working like 77 hours a week. I hope everything is good with you. Trying to make ribeyes tonight and don't wanna screw it up 😄
Why did you choose to avoid salt?? For a better sear? Sometimes I don't understand using salt since it extracts moisture from the steak and you want the steak to be dry.
Tell me about stalking my walmarts. I live in Florida have relatives, in MI, GA, And TX and havent been able to find any till this week in The Rio Grande Valley. TX. Yup my mom went to buy me one and I'm getting it Saturday,,, Yayyyyyyyy
Hey man great video I did some steaks on my 17 in the other night and everyone loved them. I actually did a reverse Sear I started them out on the charcoal weber over lower Heat like 300 and then brought them in to finish on high heat on the E-Series. Just to let you know the 22in e series is now available at Walmart in case you didn't know you can order now
I’m finding the Eseries griddle to be a home run by Blackstone. I hope it holds well over the long run. Been using it over my propane Blackstone daily. If they make a bigger alone with different zones that hold different temps they can take my money again
I bought one at Walmart last week for $150 on clearance I'm going to return it I think it's horrible it doesn't get hot enough as soon as you put food on it what's the temperature drops it took almost an hour to make home fries Deborah already blanched.
Thank you once again for this video. The mall parking lot😂 Tonight I'm making ribeyes and I need it to come out good. I made my own marinate yesterday. It's a thick, sauce type. Also, should I use my ninja foodie grill or try a pan on the stove? I did a trial the other day with the ribeye (plain without marinade) in the ninja and took it out when it looked done on outside but it was not cooked correctly on the inside. I totally forgot about using the thermometer (I worked 13.5 hours 🙃)so thanks for reminding me! I got the therm pro but not the red probe, the silver one that has the screen with wire. Can that be stuck in while the cover is shut on the ninja? Or do I have to open cover and then stab it? Also how long do you let it rest? You didn't say. Sorry for all these questions!
Hi CJ, this looks Amazing!! I just picked up the ninja foodie griddle grill xl. Am wondering what you think about this black stone vs the ninja. I have my huge outdoor black stone. Can’t use all year in my neck of the woods. Thanks & God bless!
Im not having that kind of performance on the 22" E series. You said 10 minutes for steak and shrimp. I need 10 minutes just to get with to temp with nothing on the grill. 8 pieces of bacon takes the grill down to 300. I can't cook 10 pieces of bacon in 10 minutes. Buyer beware on these.
Are you happy with this machine?Would love to know moving into a apartment complex for older people cannot have propane grill thinking of purchasing the seventeen inch grill@@CookingWithCJ

The perfect Friday meal. Have a great weekend CJ
Great cook on the e-series griddle. I hope to score a griddle soon.

Didn't know about the e griddle. I know what i want for Christmas this year.
Why do you frame the temp level indicator out of every shot?

CJ, how you liking it 3 years later? I personally cant wait to tailgate with this on the back of the platinum f 150
Honestly I haven’t used it in a long time. I kinda move on to the next cookers as they come my way.

Lol! I know there’s a 22” version out or about to be released.
That is what I’m talking about that meal looks amazing and that is my favorite part of the steak as well great video CJ
astonishing content Cooking With CJ. I broke that thumbs up on your video. Maintain up the solid work.
How smokey does it get? Will it set off your smoke alarm?
Nah not too bad.
Will they ever come out with a setting for diff food on the e series griddle . Or a good temp for all foods ?
That I cannot tell you. I think it’s more just cooking using whatever temps you’re used to.
Does it put off a lot of smoke?
No not that I noticed
That looked awesome, Cj...
Thanks Skip!
Lowe’s carries them also. Just bought one yesterday 7/04.
Awesome!
did you let your steaks or shrimp come to room temp before cooking them?
Not really. It my set for a few min while I set up my cameras and whatnot.
Looks delicious 😋 but lets be honest everything you cook is delicious 😘 Thanks for sharing, love you ❤
I have the 22” eseries, i love cooking on it no flaws found yet!
Right on!
Hey man , do come across any tempature issues?
Does the e series still work does it hold up heat well
Honestly I haven’t used it in a couple years.
Great videos...keep up with the Blackstone vids just got the e series
Right on! Thanks!
I know it's non stick, but why no oil or butter on the pan?
Honestly I don’t remember. I usually add for flavor.

Still searching for that grill.

Hey thanks! I would take the Ninja over the black stone e series. You can do more with the machine.
Where can I get it from?
Walmart is the only place I know and you have to get lucky to find it.
WM gets ONE maybe a month..:( Waiting on 22" that seems to be a unicorn, lucked out and got 17".
Damn that looks good. I bought one about three weeks ago. Been cooking like a mofo
Right on! Cheers

400F-ish

Challenge, be the first to bake a potato on the Blackstone 17 e griddle.
I’ll have to work on that.

I watched because I'm interested in the Griddle but that is NOT how I'd season my steaks!
Cool
