- What makes a truly great Ideal Client Profile (ICP)? Most companies stop at firmographics-industry, revenue, employees-but that’s just scratching the surface.
Here’s what you need to consider for a complete ICP:
1. Firmographics: Basic data like industry, size, and location.
2. Technographics: The tech stack your prospects use-critical for knowing if your solution is a good fit, or if the company is investing in the area you solve for.
3. (NEW) Exegraphics: The "personality traits" of a company, like being an early vs late adopter of new technology.
4. Event Data: Real-time changes like new funding or C-suite changes that signal fertile ground for your solution.
One thing you don't see: intent data. It doesn’t belong in your ICP. We'll talk about how to use intent data to prioritize accounts WITHIN your Target Account List (TAL) on the next video.
