One of my favorite games all time. Being Irish I found it super unique to have a main character in a video game be from there. Must have completed it 10+ times on my 360, definitely a severely underrated game!
For sure is underrated! Was one of the best games ive covered on my channel and id go back and play it in a heartbeat! And thats a cool take, i never considered the uniqueness of an irish protag before and im glad you guys got a moment to shine lol!
I remember this game from my childhood! I might pick it up from steam and play through it again! I remember how fun it was to sneak into the nazi outposts etc and plant a bomb and sneak out 😀

I've noticed a massive uprise in the amount of Saboteur content as of late, crazy this game is getting traction again!
Yeah i think it got put on steam recently so its gettin hyped up! I guess i found it on accident just before that so i got caught in the wave!
personally rather than GTA i would compare this to first two Mafias style-wise (especially the second one) due to eras when they happen
speaking of the knife throwing game tho,not everyone would be able to do this as it is a part of Midnight club dlc to which not everybody might have access to when getting it these days,heard console copies dropped it off years ago
Oh i didnt know about that dlc but that explains a lot! And i havnt actually played the mafia games so i guess i wouldnt know the differences. The while wanted system and mission style just reminded me of gta. Some aspects reminded me a lot of just cause and assassins creed too though
@@Warrandpeace parkour is ACish indeed and with the encouraging to blow the sh*t up it deffinitelly checks out JC series. Wanted system does come GTAish,i am just saying mainly about settings for especially Mafia II happens during WWII altho one does not deal with nazis there
@@Warrandpeace also,that throwing game is a source for one additional car devs themselves haven´t included as a requirement for Mechanic tier 3 perk get unlocked,for that very same reason-not everyone had/will have an access to it
@@r3l1csvk yeah that little room down there did feel kind of random and not connected to anything so now that you say it i can see it being dlc. That minigame was kinda hard tho lol. I got the car, but i didnt get the second jackpot
@@Warrandpeace i went there only once for the car and got it first try as i have this tactic about when to strike like what is the delay between pressing the throwing key,for the knifee to be thrown and when it lands. gotta admit that i landed the 3rd needed hit on the last,5th knife tho

I agree....but I think it's actually a masterpiece. I know it was Pandemic's swan song but, even so......this game is so damn good. It's just really good to play. Makes you fell like a bad ass in a way that GTA can't. I think it's because you are so much more able to interact with things. I don't know....GTA4 did this. In fact....This...GTA4 and Just Cause 2 came out at around the same time. My trio of best open world games.....before that it was Oblivion (Elder Scrolls). Before that it was True Crime: New York City.....before that it was APB. Before that it was SWAT. Before that it was HUNTER on the Amiga A500. Before that it was Back 2 Skool on the Spectrum 48k. There is no further before that. Other than Pong.
This was one of my favorite games ive reviewed so far on my channel! I still think back to it and hope i can find games just as good in the future. I spent so many hours just running around blowing up all the enemy bases and doing all the stunt jumps! The definition of a hidden gem
Looks like that's the only song everyone likes in this game
