I think I have a pretty good ear when it comes to rating someone's playing. I'm not too knowledgeable in musical vocabulary, but what you need are climaxes. You have no highs and lows, your playing has a constant, relaxed, nicely phrased and chill vibe. It's something where you say "hm, that's nice". But if you want people to stop saying "hm that's nice" and start saying "Oh my god that was amazing" you'll need to learn how to give sour improvs/solos a beginning, middle and a climax at the end. The perfect example of that structure is the solo in holy wars roght before the harmonic riff, Marty's last solo in the song. And try to work with different dynamics. As i said I'm not too good with musical vocabulary, but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say😅. Great playing btw, don't get me wrong😉
Edit: Marty's first distorted solo works perfectly too i just realized
Thanks for the well thought out critique 🙂
Reminds me of a Pink Floyd song 🤔
Which one?
Shine on you crazy diamond. ❤️🎸.
Great blues solo. Do more like this! How about a Santana cover?
That’s a good idea!
Nice
Thanks!! 🙂
That's "blue" man...some deep tones ✌
Thanks Owen 🙂
