I feel like this version is the mid point. It reminds me of moving out of my unstable households and in with my partner who is insanely patient and supportive. I wasn't fully able to open up even though I wanted to due to years of emotional suppression. I'm finally starting to figure things out a little bit after living with my partner for almost 3yrs now.I'm not quite healed, but I'm no longer "rotting" so to speak.
It made my day to see a rendition of this melody that shows the speaker further along in the implied healing process, but not quite through yet. I really appreciate this piece.

dude, i love these songs, i feel like i can kinda relate because a few months ago (and apart of this month) i have been a my lowest, kinda feeling like "you smell of dead flowers". my mother is getting custody of me again, trying to get better from her bad habits that caused her to lose custody and now i feel as if that applies to "you smell of yesterdays flowers". im still healing, but i feel i will go to being in the state of relating to "you smell of fresh flowers". (sorry for somewhat venting, i just needed to give a bit of context ♪(´▽｀)) if anyone needs help, you can call/text/message a crisis hotline. for anyone who's healing or still in that state of being at a low point, i promise you you will get to your point of "you smell of fresh flowers" ( •̀ ω •́ )✧ i believe in youuu! don't give up!!✿
