After watching countless "how to throw a jab" tutorials, it's refreshing to see a really good one. Cool! :) The most important thing missing (letting aside footwork) is the "don't pull your hand back before moving it forward" advice. That is a big one.
Edit was as straightforward as the jab, No over the top title card, didn’t ask to like, comment, smash that like button… music didn’t distract to the presentation. Good audio, Well done 👍🏾
Amazing tips on the jab! And basically alot of the strikes can follow these rules. I have a question any tips on the hyper extending of the elbow when popping out the Jab? Occasionally that will happen to me and it sucks.. Goes away but still for a few strikes after that I usually use my opposite hand. Thanks 🙏
Appreciate the explanation on where to out arms i always struggle w that. So if the key is keep elbows not flared out, then does that mean your resting guard also doesn't flare? This always tricky ti me cuz my default guard has elbows flared
Yeah dont flare them in your guard. Just leaves your chin more open and makes it harder to block body shots in time. Im working on this same bad habit atm
