Wolves on Daly Creek - Yellowstone National Park

- This video was first published May 2019. The original video had a very distracting motor noise caused by my EVO handheld gimbal for my GoPro camera. So I finally did a re-edit to improve the sound quality. Most of the video is of 3 wolves but it also shows some grizzly tracks in the snow. I normally see a lot of wildlife in this area. Watch the video and you will see some of the wildlife that you may spot on Daly Creek if you walk slow and quietly.
Thank you God for all the beauty you have created for us to enjoy.....
Wow! I am astounded at what you get to witness.
Must have been a thrill to get that much footage of wolves.
Awesome video! Female wolf looked healthy, ready to have pups soon. Really enjoy all of your hikes! Stay safe, it's wild out there!
Love to see wolves!!! I am so glad to see that really good footage of the mom an her babies in action
Great video nice day on Daly. Nice big bear tracks always good to see thank you enjoyed watching.
That was a big male, did you not notice him urinating near the carcass? The other 2 are probably daughters.
How beautiful. Thanks
5:05 ok that wolf made me yawn... funny how that work. Great video!!!
Omg ...exactly what i hoped to see , or hear when I went last year! I got my old Dad to sleep in my SUV one night so I can maybe hear wolves howling 😆! Didn't hear any, and surprisingly we slept comfortably in the front seats lol!
Incredibly beautiful
Thank you for this view into one of my favorite places!
Love your videos! Thanks for sharing this with us! 👍👍
So cool, Love to get over there one day. Thanks.........Damon from Australia
Enjoy your videos so much....thanks!
First video of wolves I have seen. Thanks
Sandhill cranes...another comment said.they are beautiful birds...I enjoyed their noise too....
Good video. So like nature video s .
Hi Stan
Thanks for sharing your amazing experience with us. When you hike in the winter, do you often see wolves? Also, I think it would be cool to make a Instagram account about your experience in Yellowstone.
sandhill cranes never stop astonishing me. Recently found out about their annual congregation along the central Platte River. Quite a phenomena.
I bet these are related to the black wolf they made a documentary about. The rise of the black wolf. Awesome documentary on UA-cam.
Awesome video
Do a Mary mountain video!
You can tell the only thing up there in the winter time is the animals maybe you LOL
Thanks Stan
The only thing i don't like about this video is the duration of it. It should be longer much longer. 😊
Another masterpiece by Stan.....by the way what bird was that one at the end with red on the head?Does anybody know? They were very noisy too....nice....
sandhill cranes
In so many of your videos, I notice a lot of dead, felled trees. Is that from the big fire long ago?? (Thanks for all your videos!)
Yes, from that fire and many other fires. Seems like we get fires in the park every year. As far as GPS, I always take a inReach satellite communicator which has a map if needed. Thank you for your comments.
What time of the day is this ?
It has been awhile, but it should have been between 6AM and 7AM.
I’m at Yellowstone now with my Yorkie.....I made it!!!!....
Can you tell me what equipment you are using?
Do you hike alone? I thought that was really discouraged by the park for safety?
Thanks for replaying this video! Excellent wolf family footage. They looked to be in great condition - are they two youngsters and their mother?
I suspect the bigger dog is male and the smaller ones are females flirting with him. I wouldn't guess a dog that big is a female.
Nice.
What wolf pack is there?
I think the wolves are getting too plentiful. It’s there every where now.. possibly over populating. Eating baby moose... I’m not digging them..but it’s only what I observe... However your videos are wonderful. Thank you.
So it's ok for humans to kill and eat everything in sight. Animals have to eat to not just humans
Andy Werner I love animals never hurt or kill them. I’m don’t even eat them, I’m a vegan. But, this is what I noticed. A lot of wolves. And I noticed because I do a lot of backpacking. You jump to a wrong conclusion. As we MUST respect and protect our wildlife. Just a lot of wolves and there over populating.
@@jeffreyvasquez3911 I agree 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
I don't believe that more wolves are a bad thing at all. Sure they'll compete with hunters for deer and elk and they will sometimes go after livestock but given how much man kind has persecuted wolves over the centuries and wiped them out over their range their recovery is long overdue.
Looks like an adult and two pups.
Does anybody know why it seems that in all these Yellowstone videos there's a lot of downed and/or dying trees? I'm guessing it has something to do with the volcano beneath, but that's just a guess.
