- Cut this up to get it to fit in15 minutes. It was a fun one. That whistling you hear was not me, it came over the radio. You never know what you're going to see or hear. It's great.

That was funny and I was certainly not expecting that to come over the radio. The 57 crew will keep you on your toes with some funny stuff.
Those look like stacked 220 mhz PTC antennas and I don't know if that top antenna is a VHF or a ATCS 900 mhz antenna
This is one of the few railroads that actually has ATCS in the locomotives so each locomotive has an ATCS number

You are correct about the lime hoppers. They come from St. Genevieve MO. from Mississippi Lime.

It's a little town in Arkansas
Wickes is no longer a town. It used to be, but then was incorporated into the city of Arnold I think in 1972. I still refer to it as Wickes because the UPRR siding there is named Wickes.
“Tankers” are boats - rail cars are “tank cars”.
I thought "Tankers" were ships not boats.

I'm sorry, I just figured out you meant the scanner that you hear the crew talking on. I feel dumb. It is just the cheapie Baofeng digital scanner. I can usually hear the dispatcher but, can only hear the crew if they are within a couple miles at the most. It works for what I do, but there are times I wish it had a farther reach. I can get you the model number if you need it.Sorry for my dumbness.
