I'm glad to see you take up the Sudzilovsky mission as I thought you might find him of kindred spirit. The man really got around and I think had the most adventurous life of any Belarussian ever. Very few have heard of this amazing man and we know even less about his life in Belarus. I hope you come up with something good and we can give this man his due.
    Thanks again

Nice video, I wish I had visited Minsk when I had the chance before visa-free entry was revoked for US citizens.
I took the overnight train from Bar to Belgrade in the fall of 2021 and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. I was so dead asleep, the person I was traveling with had to physically wake me up when we were crossing the border lol.

Enjoyed the tour of Victory Square as I could see several of the places I stayed at during your walk about. After viewing Lee Harvey Oswald дом, I suggest a visit to the restaurant Charlie just around the corner while you consider whether he acted alone or was the useful idiot for an ‘lnside job’ as you referred to. Future topic suggestion would be anything to do with WW2 (partisans, collaborators, personalities that had an effect on the war and the Mound of Glory). Between Star Media and Belarus Film they still make at least 10 WW2 films or tv series a year. I think you are safe that this part of history will be forgotten anytime soon. Whether it will be remembered accurately is the real question.

An interesting fact is that every time they pay attention to the large building in which Oswald lived, but they do not pay attention to the small wooden building standing opposite :) No one has a question why such a building has been preserved in the city center? But it influenced the course of world history, we can say it gave rise to the formation of the USSR. The first congress of the Russian Social Democratic Workers' Party (RSDLP) was held there in 1898.

I for one have to say I am very surprised at how clean it looks in Minsk.
I know there are probably shady areas in the city, but what I mean by that is that it always looks neat around the streets, nothing seems to be in disrepair, with garbage everywhere.
One question I do have for you, is.
How difficult is it for someone who only speaks English to get around Minsk, and interact with other residents?

I believe that the territorial integrity and sovereignty of states should be respected; Syria, Palestine, Iraq, Cyprus, Ukraine and Serbia. For that to happen, NATO must be disbanded. Unlike the NATO army, the Belarusian army does not have the quantitative and qualitative characteristics for waging war outside its country, but is capable of creating serious problems for the aggressors who attacked Belarus. The element of the Belarusian army is the forests and swamps of Belarus, which are the best fortress.

My advice to you, from Irishman in Serbia, is to read some books about the Southern Slavs:
"Eastern Approaches" by Sir Fitzroy Maclean. (British military mission leader to Tito in WW2). (Also informative about the USSR pre-WW2, and North Africa and Iran during WW2)
"The Bridge Over the Drina" by Ivo Andrić (Nobel prize for litterature 1961)
"1941 The Year That Keeps Returning" by Slavko Goldstajn.
And any good translations of "Ban Strahinić" (Duke Strahinić) (Anonymous) and "Gorski Venac" (Mountain Wreath) by Petar II Petrović-Njegoš of Montenegro.
