I applied for CCA around May, and took fingerprints on June since then I never got an email for the next step, got tired of waiting, so then I canceled my application on the beginning of August and tried to apply again for CCA the same day, it took me till September 9th, I got an email to go to a final processing on September 11th, i already did fingerprints so i knew that had to be the last step, I entered with a group to do some paperwork and they gave me a date to go for orientation on the 21st! And I'm so excited because it took a looong wait to get a response back and was totally worth it!!

They separate them according to the exam score. The highest one gets to pick the schedule they want. The lowest gets what's left.

I’m worried about what to wear going to do my fingerprints. I planned on dress pants, blouse and flats. Email says to wear proper footwear that covers entire foot. Would a nice blouse, jeans and boots or tennis shoes be okay?
wear comfortable shoes covering the entire foot, do not wear heels in case the fingerprint is inside the plant or within the vicinity of the plant.

@andyredvest37 finger prints are good for 90 days so you can reapply for positions.
I finally got a offer to accept the position, I did and finished all the required stuff only to be told by the Office Manager at the Local PO that there isnt a position avail and I would be put on hold for 4 months. After that I will have to apply again. Its now 4 month and the job i was given isnt there??
If you really want to get your foot in the door, they are now hiring custodians. It's also a career, meaning you will get all the benefits.

Seasonal or temporary employees don't have a permanent hours, it all depends on the needs of your branch.

Go to the orientation and let them know what to do when you missed the pre hire. Give a valid reason okay :)

I got fingerprint and interview April 2,2021, two or more weeks, I have orientation ....
How long after your fingerprint session did you receive an invite to this next step? I came in for my fingerprints on 10/31/20 and it's been almost two weeks. We weren't told anything about next steps or anything after the session was over. We were just escorted out of the building and that was that. 🤷🏼♀️

Before you applied for a job there are branches stated there right? You can call the USPS branch that you applied for.

Does anyone know why would the post office rescind your offer? Background is good. Haven't received an email of why
They may no longer need new workers at this time, or you didn't pass background check (not criminal), for example there is a gap in your past employments, or they called your school and the person they spoke to didn't give a good answer.

Good afternoon, I applied for PSE clerk on September 23, 2021. I received an offer/acceptance email on October 18, 2021, a fingerprint request on October 18.2021 and I submitted my background form on October 18, 2021. I submitted my fingerprints on October 27th, 2021 and my background was completed on November 19th, 2021. I looked on my USPS profile account and it says in process/offer phase (ext) … Do you have any idea how long it will be before I receive my orientation start date??
A week or two. Keep calm and be patient. Good things will come your way.
I just got an email for fingerprinting next week! After that how long did it take for the final steps?
In my case, I waited 2 more weeks and got the Final Processing letter to report at the main office. Congrats and all the best Patty!

On Monday Tuesday Wednesday orientation 7-3pm. My question is are they drug testing at pre hire processing?

Question. I missed my initial 5 day period in October to schedule my appointment for fingerprints. I just scheduled my appointment for this Friday. Does that mean I still have a chance to get in? Also do they make accommodations for those who are disabled? Love your channel
If they let you in, then that's a chance. Regarding with disabled accommodations I'm not sure about it.
I did my finger prints on September 23rd and haven't heard anything yet...I did receive an email that my 5 year work experience was not completed correctly and I fixed it the following day...did I mess up or am I still in the system?
It takes time, but if you have done it correctly, your application will be approved.

Good Afternoon!! I just got an email regarding the Conditional offer. I accepted the job on the USPS site. I just completed the background and vehicle check. Also sent an email to schedule fingerprint scan. I originally applied on 9/20/21 and received the email today 9/29/21. I noticed in the email it didn’t specify like a start date/hire date.
Can i ask if you got your email for fingerprints within the 5 days of background check? I did everything but haven’t received any fingerprint info
Once you get the job, they will email you to come in and you will choose your start date.
@@dawnmendez945 I got the conditional offer on 9/29/21 and received the email for fingerprints on 9/30/21. I was not able to go that same day, but I did go on Friday, 10/1/21.

I think now with covid they do not interview. In my opinion they would not WASTE the time asking for fingerprints and not interview you. Also why waste the time to fingerprint a person and THEN ask them to do a drug test. They would drug test first IF the position calls for it. So I feel like if they ask you for Fingerprints you're hired. Just wait for orientation email

Hi Marie, I gave my finger printing and submitted my I-9 during the finger printing. But I am still waiting. Hi, After my finger printing i got the email from HR saying that please open the document attached to this correspondence and follow the instructions and guidance contained in the attachments. But no document is attached to follow the the directions. The mail says the message is automatically generated and do not respond to this email.

@@ti_1776 no Tara. When I asked HR about what documents they want. They just sent I-9 form. But I submitted that form during my finger printing. I did not send it again.

Hi Delhi, the fingerprint will be applied to the job you accepted. It's a slow process but hang in there and the email will come. I know I felt the same way because it's taking a while.

I have a question to ask.....my background was completed in five days, did my fingerprints on the 17th of last month in September, I have been calling the post office I applied at.....who can I call to see about my fingerprint status? I am really waiting for the email of Orientation and start date or do I get a letter in the mail?
Hello Takia, they will email you the orientation info. You can call the HR who sent you an email for the fingerprint, that's what I did before and she said that there are applicants ahead of me that they are processing first. So hang in there.

@@monteg2428 No, the usps kept giving me the run around. They skipped over me for the CCA position, they would only contact me for the holiday clerk position, which is only for a couple of weeks. Plus, they got back to me about the MHA position, but come to find out, that position was a holiday position as well. Basically, I had no luck from USPS. I have a few applications that are pre hire and in prescreening process, but been in those process a while now.

Hello Marie. I went for fingerprints for processing and they told me in ten days they will contact me for orientation. then I received another offer from handler position. I would rather the handler position. So if I cancel the processing position for the handler position would I still have to wait the same 10 days? Or will fingerprinting prices etc start over? You will start over! But since you already took your fingerprint and NACI you don't have to do it again. Take the PSA position while applying for MHA. Then you can resign from PSA when you got the orientation letter for MHA. Take a calculated steps because you might loose both.

@@ufoexpert1223 I emailed the person about setting an appointment up for fingerprints. Got a email back same day saying "just watch your email". 14 days later I received an email saying come to get fingerprinting done in 2 days.

I went for my fingerprinting on Jan 2, 2021 it is now 3/1/2021 and I haven't heard anything after that. I'm supposed to be waiting for orientation email to start. Also my application status on the website says In process Offer Phase (EXT). I already took the test back in December 2020 and got a 85. I also received the job offer in December 2020. Just wandering after I was done fingerprinting how long does it take for me to get an orientation email to start or if I'm not hired will they send me a email stating I'm not hired. Please help. I’m in CA. I applied for MPA and got a score of 96. Today I had my fingerprint done. What am I going to do next?
They will email you a letter for final processing. Meaning you will have a tour inside the plant then you will sign tax forms and contract. After that you will get another email for orientation. Watch my video about orientation if you are interested to know what happens during this process.

@@kshon86 they will get back at you. Just remember that they do thorough backgrounds because you will be working with the government. It took me a while too. Dont forget to check your emails or HR people will call you. I got an email and a call from HR for my orientation. They should be calling or emailing you soon because the holidays are coming the post office will be super busy.

hope I can hear back from you so I can get a piece of mind. I applied for a CCA. On May 22 I got an email that said USPS conditional job offer. It said "Congratulations! Based on the information provided in your application and assessment
results (if applicable), we are pleased to offer you the position of
CITY CARRIER ASSISTANT" etc etc etc..... right after that I got another email to accept or decline job offer. Of course I accepted. Five days later I got another email that said pre-employment processing. I went to that on June 4th in the morning...there was like 8-9 other people. We signed paperwork has a basic interview, that took took less then 5 minutes with everyone in the room, watched a video that basically showed us about the job and also took my fingerprints. Its been about 5 days and I have not received any follow up and I am getting so anxious. What do you suggest I do, does it sound to you that I am on track in getting the job? Also checked the status of my application on my online profile and it says in process...offer phase (ext) do you have any idea what that means? Hope to hear back in a response.

I applied october, got my fingerprint at end of november, How long does it take for me to get an orientation date?
After fingerprints they called me for orientation, so I guess the process is different in different areas

@@PreppedANDStrapped woow lol it was a week after background check when they emailed me to call hiring manager and she had sent me the info for fingerprints which I had done the next day this Wednesday would be my 2 week mark after fingerprints. I'm so impatient 😨
Do they count the weekend for the 5 days to do fingerprints because I got a notice on 10 Thursday and went Tuesday 15th. I haven’t heard anything and now it’s Friday 18th
It's 5 business days per week. HR has a normal hours.
I got called yesterday October 4,2023 asking do I still want the job and I should get the email giving me my orientation date. Hopefully they send it to me tomorrow October 5,2023

How do I schedule for the fingerprint verification I called the number provided and emailed the email they sent the day I got all the emails but I haven’t heard anything from them and it is almost at the deadline they gave me to get it done.

Me too I emailed Ms. Campbell to schedule an appointment for my fingerprint, and she replied and said once my name appears on the fingerprint report I would recieve and invite via email, I don't know what this means I'm currently waiting for the email and I don't know what to look out for

They will email you a fingerprint appointment. Wait about 2 weeks for it to come.

It depends on the branch you applied and how soon they need the manpower. My hiring process took 2 months even though I live in the busiest city in USA.
Ok so right now I currently have an appointment for finger prints but I’d like to know why it says it might take 1-2 hours is the orientation included or why is it so long? Do they interview you at the spot? What should I expect at finger print process? I want to be better prepared. Also I use to have to two misdemeanors on my record, but the got expunged a couple years ago, should I mention that at the finger prints?
Fingerprints is just literally taking your fingerprint. No need to mention about your past.
I did the fingerprint scan and that’s it I have yet to do a drug test or anything it’s been weeks

What city and state are you out of? I’m in CA. I applied for MHA today and got a score of 93, and I’m already dying for an email 😂 I also applied for MPA and got a 97, but it’s a temporary position. I’m deciding on which one, if I get offers...
MHA gets more benefits. MPA gets more money but it's a temporary job. There are many applicants they are processing so hang in there, the email will come. For the mean time start working out, the job is physically strenuous. The work is 6 days a week. Prepare yourself for the pain and pressure.
