Vania Tseng , I totally agree on the casting, especially Lindsay in the role of Miss Adelaide.
If this happens, Jessie will have 2 musicals under her belt where she played 2 different roles.😊

saw it a few days ago from the front row and it was STUNNING (esp. Lindsay). Sad that Renee had to leave partway through the 2nd act.
What happened? I saw it on Monday gone by and was in heaven! Such a simplistically beautiful and magical staging, wonderful performances by everyone including the ballet pas de deux sequence in the second act where the two dancers seemed to be dancing in air.
I'm not entirely sure, but one of the other cast members told me afterwards that she was having a problem with her voice. Hope she's okay now!

I find it disappointing the lack of respect for the music as written. It is precisely written and is so much better than these “actors/singers” believe. I wish actors wouldn’t delay notes or change the rhythm which is constructed by the COMPOSER. Ego.

The musical director allows them to tinker with the notes written by Richard Rodgers (who’s music they are so “honored “ to sing. They should not any of them be allowed the privilege. What do they do with Mozart? Why are they permitted to change Rodgers’ music.

Lack of respect for the music that the composer wrote is not new, unfortunately. Pop "singers" such as Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston have been known to butcher the melodies of the songs they perform.
