The smile on this guy is worth a million bucks!! I am guessing if you are depressed or feeling down all that would change after having a conversation with him. That haircut looks awesome, makes his personality have an upper hand in allowing his personality to shine, good job. Thumbs up 👍👍👍
I agree. God definitely blessed Eric with good looks and an award winning smile; a great gift to have in this life that as you say, just cheers people up. (just control that ego though! ; ) ). With all that, he could potentially even do well as a Hollywood actor if he chose to, perfected by a talented hair stylist like TheSalonGuy! Good luck to you.
Oh he looks much better after the haircut.. You were absolutely right to take off more from the bottom to make it more blunt and neat.. Then connected to front...
That was the most informative video I've seen you do. Thank you. I was dreading you talking us through what you'd already done, so to see you actually cut a real guy was fantastic. More real time real cuts please. I qualified at barber school 2 yes ago, I've had my own shop for a year but I'm still scared of a lot of cuts so this was very reassuring to watch. It kind of confirms what I know and gives me more confidence
my hair looks just like his and I like the way my flow is on my hair, but I don’t trust anybody cutting it? U did an amazing job love how his came out!!!!
You have golden hands, it seems easy, but only a real artist can look at the type of hair, interpret things correctly and make a cut properly...this is what separates a master from a common hairdresser!
i recently cut my hair like this.....and have been getting tons of compliments. Most women where I live have long hair....and so I wanted to be different.
Nice styling job. This timeless style was popular when I was in Jr High many years ago then years later revived (as all styles eventually do) but had that more bowl cut (Moe and Shemp Howard look) and shaved side look which I don't care for. It reminds me of someone needing a shaved area for surgery. Anyway, I like the longer sided layered back look that you do here. It works well on Eric.
I love this haircut! I'm showing this to whoever cuts my hair, I know its probably alot harder to get a live person to cut on for all ur vids, but this was really fun to watch, and also made me laugh a bit, you did great on him :)
Slowly but surely by watching your videos I am beginning to understand the art of hairdressing. Espeically with difference between blunt and point cutting. Just wondering, if I wanted my hair cut like this would it be better to go to a barber or hairdresser?
He’s one of a very select few who take pride in their work and don’t must rush as many clients through as possible. Best decision. I ever made eas to stop paying $20-25 and splurge the extra 40 or so anyway even as a student
Unfortunately, people that say “ I wish my stylist would....” are the same people who pay $15 for a haircut. You are a premium stylist who can take his time to tailor a haircut for each actual person. Also, some clients bounce around so much from person to person and don’t give a stylist time to get to know their hair.
Gabriel Zavala I’m sure you have the money. Learn to budget for what’s most important. If you are already doing that and hair is in the budget, then you don’t care as much as you think.
If a hairdresser (whether barber or salon ) screws my hair the first but I still pay full price why should I owe them a second chancre. Surgeons don’t get to write off their first attempt bc they hadn’t seen your brain before the n. Plenty of stylists do it very well on the first appointment, if I’m paying $60-90 for a men’s cut I expect them to fo it well or admit they don’t know how yet, their honesty would likely earn them a generous tip (and I don’t live in a country that tips)
@@Jordan-ec1sh apples and oranges. No one dues from haircut mistakes. Anyhow, I didn’t say you couldn’t get a good haircut on the first attempt. You said that. Besides, as a hairstylist, it takes time to know your client. We learn your style, your quirks, your dislikes etc. that is what I meant.
Hey I would love an answer to that I have the same thing that he had in the beginning on his left side where part of the hair clumps together and break a part from the main hair on one side how do you call it and how to fix it ?
Been waiting on this video for a while. So cool that I am just having a Starbuck's and watching. Michael Easton on General Hospital (Character Hamilton Finn) has this cut, and I am mesmerized by his feathery layers, but it isn't a "dated" 70's vibe. ANd he's old enough to have worn it back then.
So the real question is can a experienced barber do this? Also compared to a standard cut how much additional time would be required? Nice but unsure a standard barber would refuse to do this.
I’m not sure if you would share this but Barbara’s select their client by doing a great job as oppose to bad job to discourage you from coming back. And what can you do in this situation?
Great video. All men with longer hair should have their hair cut in a salon, because barbers simply can't do cuts like this. All they do is scalp men with those stupid fades. I won't let my grandson get his hair cut in a barber shop. He gets it styled, and I hope he always will.
i think this video could lose the out of pocket misogynistic comments about young women but otherwise this was very educational and gave me a very good result in my haircut
Yeah, my area is totally racist & haven't had a good layered haircut since my gr.9 cosmo teacher gave me one. And it was free! Every other barber since did exactly what you mention here in the vid. Not knowing wtf 2Do! So I'm watching a bunch of your vids to diy 2myself better than I have been. YES, I've been cutting my own hair ever since. Thanx 4 your vids
With real model it is way interesting to watch
bro is that really a model? fuck im so harsh on my face
The smile on this guy is worth a million bucks!! I am guessing if you are depressed or feeling down all that would change after having a conversation with him. That haircut looks awesome, makes his personality have an upper hand in allowing his personality to shine, good job. Thumbs up 👍👍👍
Thx Peter!!!! Nice to see you here. Hope you are well.

Now I wanna hear all the stories from your college years and parties lol
Very good looking man, wish i had long hair like that. Great video tutorial.
Ok SalonGuy, are there ways to make natural curly hair, wavy? Without using flat iron, or any kind of things that could potentially damage my hair?
Kool techniques, what if they comb it to the side?
Hair cut + standup comedy ♥️
That guy is so charming definitely looks like Ian Somerhalder
Wait, is this location within West Vancouver, since Rockridge is a secondary school there
Eric doesn't need a haircut ,,, the handsomeness will SELL per se .... The model will uplift the hairstylist ...

What exactly is this style of haircut called so I can easily ask for it?
this video was beautiful

@Parking Lott while this may be a proven statistic, I don’t see the relevance to my comment.

I started growing out my hair in March too!
I started from a buzzcut though, so Eric’s is a little longer than mine :)
Same here. His hair grows so fast. Mine barely touched the tip of my nose.

Yes
I asked my barber for this, now I look like jet li from Shaolin temple.
