Hello Lily I was taking a look at your website and you have your currency set at Euro and I was wondering if I were to buy the alcoholic stove how much would it cost in American currency. Could you give me a price because you're conversion table with a little confusing. Would I be paying more than $7 for the alcohol stove. Also on your website there's no way to communicate as there is on this page of UA-cam

I like the spiritual aspect of camping too. Under the stars next to a campfire with a good cup of coffee. Or even in the rain, I love the wind and rain. If you are dry and warm you can get some really good sleep in the rain. Friendships are made and enhanced in camping together.

Too bad my country, the USA, doesn't allow to even have a USA Flag on clothing except a small arm-type patch for military and first responders. The USA has a Flag Code which every US citizen should abide by, but they don't. Bottom line ,it's the money. Since you brought up the US Flag shirt, it was made to look tattered and used. WHY? I don't have a clue how the whole worn-out look started, but I am very much against it. You are not allowed to disrespect the Flag of the USA if you are a citizen of the USA. Lilly is not American, but why does she wear it?... to be cool, to match her clothes, to honor the meaning of the US FLAG? Let Lilly answer that question. To me it's disrepectful for anyone to make, and sell a US Flag to look worn out or maybe abused. When the USA Flag gets to a point of being that way, it is suppose to be retired respectfully, preferably by a ceremonial burning and burial of it. Sorry Lilly! I come from a military family: me, Veteran '69-'70-US ARMY- Viet Nam era, My wife 22 years US NAVY Reserve, Ret., Oldest son, Current 19 yrs USMC. Respect to you Lilly and all that you have taught people from viewing your UA-cam channel, including me, a subscriber.

Stephen McLendon thank you dearly for your and your wife's service to our Country much love and respect for you both on this Veterans Day. I completely agree with you on our flag and the lack of respect it's been given through the years more so lately and it brings tears to my eyes and many like ours to watch it. In Lilly's case her clothing is just that...clothing and I'm sure has nothing to do with disrespecting anything or anyone. Showing support for her supporters in this case I'm sure. She's got a lot of support for her outdoor skill from us here in the states.

I am both amazed and disgusted by the number of men who are negative, patronising and just rude about your efforts, skills and the work you do. They appear threatened and challenged by the fact that a women would dare to do anything in this area. Some of their comments reveal more about them as people than it does about you. There’s no point in arguing or responding to them in this context, they have made their minds up based on their emotive response and not much more. It’s like wrestling with a pig in the mud, the pig likes it and you just get dirty. Keep on making the videos, keep on entertaining us, I like and enjoy what you do. All strength to you.

Lilly, Consider visiting a builder's supply market. Look for "FOIL FACED RIDGID FOAM INSULATION BOARD." I don't know the European measurements, but here in the U.S. it comes in 4 x 8 foot sizes, and in various thicknesses. Look for 12 mm thick. Use this in the bug out camp for reflecting the fire warmth into the shelters from the opposite side of the fire. When cut to the desired size these boards are very light weight and can be stowed away easily. And, they are relatively cheap. Johann

Thanks for the video Lilly. It is therapy indeed. My wife found out in April that she has brain cancer. On top of that she had a stroke in July. My only diversion from work and caring for her (along with family and friends) is being able to share the adventures of outdoors people like yourself. This is the second in the rain video I've watched this week and it makes me want to get into the woods so badly. I love the fact that you try to film so the viewer feels like they are there with you, not watching from home. Keep up the adventures. They are a God send.

Just a suggestion, stick your hair dryer in your leather boots/shoes and heat them up then start applying beeswax to the outside until they won’t absorb anymore. The wax won’t rot taking the leather with it and if you have to you can actually use the boots for buckets. Most of the leather waterproofing is fat based which deteriorates. I’ve got boots from the 70’s that are still going strong.

Although the wood you are farming is dead standing....it provides nutrients for many species of invertebrates and is a vital part of the food chain.

I like how you did that double bug out camp. That gives me a really good idea for this Springs project turning my one man into a two person or more bug out shelter. Keep them videos coming you go girl.
