    My biggest complain of all the youtube coaches was they all explain the physiology, but ne of them show how it "sounds" with low or high larynx. But this video shows it! Thank you. This is how to teach singing.

    Thank you so much for this! I heard from so many people that the way I was singing was wrong (I sing soprano) and that my larynx shouldn’t move, even at the very top or bottom of my register. So nice to know I was doing it right all along!

    • @stevensavoie856
      @stevensavoie856 17 днів тому

      @NewYorkVocalCoaching still at it. It's been helpful.
      I discovered that raising the back of my tongue was my main issue. I didn't feel the small movements. But the exercise is still helpful whenever my larynx starts to drift. After I do the first half a few times I try the second half once and it works. Then I usually repeat on a higher leap or two before singing the phrase again.

    Wowww. Thank you very, very muchhh Justin 💐😍 this is an awesome video, cleared up a lot of my questions. All this time, i was doing exercises with a lot of laryngeal movements on higher n lower notes. I had no idea 💡 that lower notes can be sung with a neutral larynx & that higher notes with a neutral larynx as well 😍

  • @user-of4kk4in9f
    @user-of4kk4in9f 4 роки тому

    Wow super helpful. I do find that when singing higher pitches I need to imagine my larynx lowering just to stay neutral otherwise I squeeze and raise it. This is a BIG problem solver - thank you thank you!!
