Hi Karen , I admire you for your hard work . So organized. I’ve never been on eBay, but I’m certainly going to check your shop out . You have a kind & gentle voice . You look like your having fun. 🌺💞🌺
LOL, Girl! I had eggrolls for breakfast this morning. We're talking, second day of school.... home alone FINALLY... so I treated myself to leftover chinese for breakfast. LOLOL! Love your channel, thanks for all your hard work.
Thanks to you I made my first trip to the Goodwill bins last weekend. I’m now hooked ! Much better deals than in the store. Except for clothes and large furniture, I feel like ours pretty much puts everything in the bins. Thanks for your inspiration !
I would have bought the whole box of hats. Many sellers will offer a lower price if you buy the whole box. My husband flips hat regularly. So easy to list and ship. He usually turns $0.25 into $10 - $20 dollars (sometimes quite a bit more). We sell more high priced things as well but the hats are a nice steady source of income and almost all profit. I love watching Osborn2thrift too! Thanks for all you do and share Karen!
So funny about the dogs. Couldn't help noticing what bad shape the sidewalks are in. Accident waiting to happen for those walking with arms loaded with bags and packages. Good buy on the Open hats. I found myself wondering if these yard sales are worth your time.
I love all your videos but I don’t know if anyone’s ever told you this before but your voice and just hearing you talk about things is so relaxing almost puts me asleep. If it weren’t for this Thrift channel you definitely have a future as an ASMRTIST.
Hey Karen! Love your videos. I have learned a lot from you. I recently started an Ebay store and you're one of my favorite mentors! Those jerseys were appliqué and heat pressed or screen printed. Probably heat pressed. I have done embroidery/screen print and heat press for years. I used to do a lot of sports. The appliquéd jerseys are definitely the most valuable. That's because of the pre-cut tackle twill letters and numbers and the time it takes to stitch. The stitching can either be done on a commercial embroidery machine or manually stitched on an industrial sewing machine. It's time consuming either way, hence the value!
Lavender Clothesline- I just found your channel and I am enjoying your content so much!! You are very clean and organized. I am going to really try to emulate you! And, we are the same age!! I wish I looked as good as you though- haha
I like any kind of video you posted karen!💞 fast or slow, shopping or hauls I always learn something! I research what you debate on; Tom clancys Splinter Cell beanie..I found none for sale, but caps went for 25! And Vintage bathrobes! I researched and I will be looking for robes from now on! I saw a gorgeous peacock robe from the 40's for 250! Thanks karen for what you share!🥰
Karen, I love watching your videos because you have taught me to pay attention to the details and how well items are made. When I am out and about hunting, I ask myself….would Karen pick this up? Thank you very much! 😘
I just think your are wonderful at what you do!! I love your videos and watch them almost daily!! I am going to try selling some things n see how I do ! You are very encouraging!! Thank you for being you!! Is it hard to get set up for ebay! If you have a few minutes , maybe you would se d me a few pointers about ebay!! Thank you, and keep on thrifting. Theres only one thing that I like more than thrifting n yard sales n flea markets, is Cooking! I did have a little food business from my kitchen !! There is nothing like being your own boss! Thanks again Karen!! You are inspiring and so fun to watch
Hello Karen, Yard sales are fun and interesting to explore for sure ! And like you said should be a better price usually hopefully. I also live in Pennsylvania in a small town near to Pittsburgh. I'm not a reseller but it does cross my mind from time to time. I absolutely don't have the storage but i do come across some awesome items on my occasional thrift store shopping for leisure adventuring unique treasure finds in my budget range. I absolutely LOVE thrifting !! Maybe someday... fingercrossed ! 🍀🙏❤💙 Take Care 💖
That was so fun to "walk" through the neighborhood with you. Quaint looking homes and looks like perfect weather for garage saling. Totally yes on selling bath robes! I'm always on the look out for plush fleece ones or Velvet new or vintage ones to sell mainly on fbmp locally. Looking forward to seeing your haul. Thanks Karen. :)
this was really fun to watch Karen. Thanks for taking us along. I noticed you passed up some pots and pans, some of those can bring "crazy good money", Onedia, Capholon, sorry cant spell that one. LOL I wonder if those other people had food that the dogs spotted.
Hey Karen…always fun & informative content! Yep…yard/garage sale stuff must be “almost giveaway” prices…that’s what most people are looking for. I learned this the hard way. This “unspoken rule” is also why I don’t bother doing many yard sales unless it’s for stuff I just need to get rid of and don’t care that much what it sells for. If I paid a good price for something and it’s never been opened or only used once or I paid $$$ for it…yard salers really don’t care. So if I don’t want to sell it for next to nothing, then I’ll go with FB marketplace, Craigslist or EBay or other online sales sites or maybe even a consignment or flea market if it has enough value.
Karen I’m sure dogs love you you’re super friendly with people I’m sure they pick up on that, by the way you look amazing your skin your hair your just glowing yay 61 🎉 🥳 . Happy birthday I know your birthday‘s coming up in the next seven or eight days so happy birthday you look amazing my friend♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Hi Karen, you had me laughing about the dogs not liking you! Aww! I enjoyed the yard sales, but you are right your Memorial Day sales were busier. Still I’m sure you found some good things! Yes the caps were a good purchase for $.50! Cheers, Pat
One of the problems with real yard sales is the Seller is still attached to the price they paid, and too often everyone looks up prices on eBay and feels that’s what they should get without taking into account the shipping, sellers fees, overhead etc. your goals are a little idealistic so you won’t get rich quick but you will build clientele and do well. 🌸
I was surprised to hear you liked to see tarps on ground. I just hate to see clothing on the tarps on ground! Usually in our area it means the items on tarps on the ground are dirty and dumpy. Northern Illinois.
Sorry about the dogs 🐕 I so love dogs, yep I would have bought the hats, most of the clothes were too expensive. You sound like my husband when he see sales displayed like you say he won't go in. We in another life had antique shops / Second hand. Good luck lovely lady.
The is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210-209 BCE with the purpose of protecting the emperor in his afterlife. at your 25:43 mark ...
Great video! QUESTION - When you sell on Marketplace & meet people in the parking lot, do you have a max price limit? For example, you wouldn't sell anything over $100 through Marketplace...
I am trying for an average sale price of at least 32 dollars and preferably 50 plus . This just way too much work to only sell an item for 10 dollars after fees, thank you sticker, plastic and tissue paper just not enough profit for me .. so I would probably have said no to the hat unless I could have sold one for at least 32 . I do not have a whole lot warehouse space either
This is why I never shop at garage sales. You cannot find anything worthy. I always get my items for reselling from estate sales, consignment and thrift stores. I don’t mind to pay up, as long as I will make 5 times or more from my investment.
I do REALLY well at yardsales! Memorial Day Yardsales brought thousands of dollars in profit… this one was a little slower but part 2 & haul video coming 😁
Had to laugh at minute mark 2, when you reviewed the item criteria you were on the hunt for. You’re searching for Unicorns. Sadly, most items lack at least 1 element of your criteria, making the decision to buy harder. They’re perfect candidates, except for:--- (fill in the blank). Perfect, except they need cleaning, or the price is too high, etc. Its why sourcing is time consuming. Fun, but time consuming.
Karen just a tip don’t complain about prices people have at their yard sales flea markets etc they are also trying to make money same as you. A lot of people don’t appreciate that. Im a picker for over 35 years and a lot of people don’t like it when they know you bought it for 4 dollars and you want 40.00 just saying. I like your saying go out and get what’s yours
This is my first experience with you and most likely my last. You seem very snobbish with a very high opinion of yourself. Good luck with your resale endeavors.
Hi Karen , I admire you for your hard work . So organized. I’ve never been on eBay, but I’m certainly going to check your shop out . You have a kind & gentle voice . You look like your having fun. 🌺💞🌺
I can listen to you all day! Your voice is so soothing. Glad I found your channel ☺️ currently watching all your videos.
LOL, Girl! I had eggrolls for breakfast this morning. We're talking, second day of school.... home alone FINALLY... so I treated myself to leftover chinese for breakfast. LOLOL! Love your channel, thanks for all your hard work.
I did the same!
Wow
You Do Live in A Great Neighborhood,,,,,, Welcoming You, When You Moved there,,,, Great💜
Thank Karen! I really enjoyed going to Yard-sales with you. The dogs!🤣
Thanks to you I made my first trip to the Goodwill bins last weekend. I’m now hooked ! Much better deals than in the store. Except for clothes and large furniture, I feel like ours pretty much puts everything in the bins. Thanks for your inspiration !

Happy Birthday beautiful Karen
Yes! Zippered Bathrobes. My jam for the water aerobics classes I take year around. Crazy hard to find.

I wish our little town would do this. I’ll have to suggest it to the town board!

THE EGG ROLL LADY HAS AMAZING FOOD. WE GET THEM AND FREEZE THEM ❤️😍We find her whenever she’s close by

Yes on the hats!
Those Earth Shoe sandals at 19:28 are sold at Walmart -- very comfortable, but not expensive.

Lolol the butt shots 😂 Your community seems so cool!!
What a nice uplifting fall stroll through your neighbourhood! Thank you!

Nice town sale & you were on the move, some willpower passing on the egg rolls. Getting in your steps today, will catch your haul later, take care👍🌟
Love your reseller videos, you’re so passionate about what you do. ❤️

Your community looks so cute!
Thor … 😍💕🥰🤣😅 Love the narration on all your videos by the way. Thank you 😊 omg… doggies were so cute! I could almost smell the egg rolls !! 🥰😋😩
Good morning Karen
Love your community sale..looks like a lovely town
I have the little statues it a replica of the Han Dynasty terracotta soldier , I got mine at the souvenir shop at the museum.
Miss Elaine bathrobes are the bomb. Not sure the6 are made any longer, but I would totally buy a clean, pre-owned one. 🥰
The dogs sense that you're in a hurry and command a little more attention than you're able to provide. Great content. Thank you for sharing. :)

More towns are doing community-wide sales. Great idea, saves shoppers time with maps and denoted days each seller will have sales.
Yes, I would have taken the hats too. But I am just learning them :)

Hi,FYI Webkins Australian Shepard plush brings BIG money
I agree used clothes should be under $2.00 . Nice walk through . Have a great day . 😃
I would have taken those hats in a split second!!
Nice community. It just seemed like a whole lot of effort for 2 stadium seats and some ball caps.
😂👍 a haul video is coming soon

I love going tag sailing with you Karen! But how do you carry everything if you are not going back to your car? Do you do that periodically?
In my experience, dogs don't like to have their picture taken. So, it wasn't you, it was the GoPro.
I would have bought the hats for .50 for sure.
That's so great Lisa, love it! You're right, they don't want their cover blown for the other dogs in the neighborhood- keeping it mysterious, right =)
Sorry about the dogs 🐕 I so love dogs, yep I would have bought the hats, most of the clothes were too expensive. You sound like my husband when he see sales displayed like you say he won't go in. We in another life had antique shops / Second hand. Good luck lovely lady.
The dogs must not like your smell. Too sweet 😂
Appliqué is always better quality. Machines fuse with heat not as heavyweight. You have good idea of fabric quality too.
I agree! Thor is hot!
GM Karen...always fun to tag along. Question: Did you walk the entire yard sale? Have a good day.
I walk all Yardsales fairly close together and drive the rest 😁
@@lavenderclothesline Karen - you are my hero.
I would have bought the box of hats, maybe a haggle $3 the lot 🤣😂🤣😂❤
Sometimes I think I like dogs more than they like me.
Thor mmm 😍 Im going to the Aussie Rules Footy Sat night my team is playing Chris' team for a spot in our AFL Grand Final 😚
What are brands of clothes you always shop for. Also why only ebay?
Never buy used plush....fleas,bed bugs, smoke, urine. NOPE

No, I’ve sold items through local pick up for hundreds of dollars
love yard sales and yard sale videos!
I would’ve bought that whole box of hats and offered $5 🙂
You should have gotten all the hats?
inflation hit the yard sales LOL my thrift stores prices are on average 7 dollars and up
+ at savers and GW
👍🌻
You felt she had a store in her house Thats terrible. Wait you have one in your Basement".
👍😃
🌷🌷🌷🌷
other people might have smelled like egg rolls potential for treats

Maybe the dogs are just camera shy!
🤣😂🐕🤗🥰

Hi, Karen! The dogs didn't like you because you didn't smell like eggrolls and fried rice ;>
If you have hand sanitizer
I thought you moved way too fast in this video. Not as much fun to watch as your usual.
I am getting a little worried about you Karen. ALL the dogs don't like you? Hmmmmmm
Had to laugh at minute mark 2, when you reviewed the item criteria you were on the hunt for. You’re searching for Unicorns. Perfect, except they need cleaning, or the price is too high, etc. Its why sourcing is time consuming. Fun, but time consuming.
It would be me with a dog. I do not pet dogs. They probably know that. No any dog. I don’t like them out among people.
Karen just a tip don’t complain about prices people have at their yard sales flea markets etc they are also trying to make money same as you. A lot of people don’t appreciate that. Karen, you can tell real stones from faux because real stones, if not in the sun will be cooler. Faux stones will be air temperature.
This is my first experience with you and most likely my last. You seem very snobbish with a very high opinion of yourself. Good luck with your resale endeavors.
No worries, I wish you well xoxox
Yet your arrogant, judgmental comment only makes YOU look like the snob, linda. This isn't an airport - no need to announce your departure lol
How rude. Love you, Karen! ❤️
