It depends on the model. On this one, technically no. To be more accurate, I believe you can install all but maybe 2 blades on the floor and then just install those when you get it mounted. If you install all of them on the floor you can't angle the fan to hang it.
I am very grateful for the easy-to-follow tutorial! Had my old ceiling fan down and my new one installed in about 30 minutes, thanks to you and your son!
We took a fan back thinking it was defective. Got another one. Same problem. Obviously, it MUST be our fault. Watched your video. Voila! Figured out what we were doing wrong. We weren't attaching wires right. The colors were wrong. Thanks!!!
Thank you for the video. I used it as a reference to go along with the manufacturer’s instructions, and everything was a cinch. I was replacing an old fan because the light kit became inoperative. My light kit was originally tied in with a wall switch, and the fan was hot at all times. I basically matched the old wiring to the new one. I had two hot wires (red) tied into the fan hot (black), another single hot wire (orange) tied into the light kit hot (blue) and two neutral wires (white) tied into the fan’s neutral (white). My home was not wired with a ground, so I simply tied off the ground wire to the fan. It works exactly as planned. I leave the chain for the light kit always on, and control the light with a wall switch. The fan is controlled by the chain switch. I had my one son helping me with the job, and just like you, I was busting his balls the entire time. He’s a good kid and very mechanically inclined like his old man. These people giving you crap need to chill out. They obviously don’t have a sense of humor.
Thanks Joseph and you are exactly right, get a sense of humor. I make these videos to help not to get trolled but such it is. Helps me develop a thicker skin.
Thanks So Much.... Today 07/26/21... Can't follow instructions that came with the ceiling fan , Your Video worked perfectly......... Stopped and started . after each part. AND IT WORKS... !!!!!! TA. DA...
Great video... very informative. But please don't bash your son. He is going to be a winner! He did great and should feel so blessed that he had someone who is teaching him how to do this!
OMG!! Thank YOU!! because of this video, I was able to install my fan. I asked so many people and no one would help me and I started looking for videos and you had it step by step with great video footage of exactly what you were doing and I did and it and it worked!! I am sooo HAPPY!! Thank you
Thanks for the walk-through. I've installed two of these before but I absolutely hate following the directions in the books they're usually terrible. This got me through it no problem, it's much appreciated that you took the time out to do this.
MAGNIFICENT, no, PERFECT step by step , easy-to-understand instruction video. I did not refer to the manufacturer's manual one time. My wife and daughter think I'm a genius (at least for the day.). Putting the blades on is an ABSOLUTELY two person endeavor!! Thanks for this terrific video!!
I really appreciate this video. Great instructions and easy to watch. No annoying music and/or commentary.... Had never put up a ceiling fan. Finished it relatively easy. Looked like a pro did it once I finished. 👍🏾
I got this exact fan and your video was a big help. Even with that your son was light speed ahead of me even using the video as a guide. This fan was put up in my patio and I live in Florida so there is a lot of moisture. On most fans adjusting the blades is simple. With this one, it's a pain in the neck and you have to remove the light kit. Before I attached the light kit I turned back on the power and tested out the fan which was making a lot of noise. It looked like the blades were grinding on the motor so I had to slightly loosen each blade. I spent 3 hours and got to the point where there was no grinding sound for the low and medium speeds, but still present for the high speed. This fan on medium is faster than the rest of my fans in the house on high speed so I just threw in the towel and thought that was good enough for me. Sorry but I haven't read every comment so this may have been posted before. At around 21:35 the globe is attached with only the bowl cap and finial. However, these two parts are just decorative. The hex nut was not removed before putting up the globe. The hex nut should be removed. Then put up the globe, secure with the hex nut followed by the bowl cap and finial. The fan looks much better than the rusted-out 30-year-old fan that was up previously. This is the 5th fan I put up in my life and definitely the most difficult. Making adjustments will be a much bigger pain in the neck than the other fans in my house. Your video made a hard job a little easier.
Thank you Clint and your son for such a helpful video. I just completed my 1st ever installation of a Palm Cove 52" fan in my Morning room in under 2hrs. It was a "breeze"
The glass dome fell down together with the light switch chain thank God the bed prevented it from braking this happened right before bed the next day I needed some guide to put it back together and this was perfect Thank you so much 😊
Good sensible explanation. We attain our life knowledge from exposure and instruction. We attain our confidence and future attitudes from the instruction. One day we will have more knowledge than our instructor, at which time we may find the return of the original trainer. Good luck.
Agreed. My goal in life is to never stop learning. I might not ever be the best at any one thing but I hope to help a lot of people along the way with these videos.
Thank you! My fan has been installed for about a year, but quit working. I thought it was the remote battery, so I changed that and it still didn't work. Thanks to this video I learned that I simply needed to re-sync the remote.
Of all the videos that I watch this one is the best. I have hung a few in my time but this Hunter that I purchased is giving me the blues. I have the red wire too and was confused on what to do with it. You rock!!!
Sir I really want to thank you for your video I've had my ceiling fan for 10 years and I feel like an absolute idiot . My fan never really worked right so I just didn't bother with it and all I needed to do was take out the spacers wow I truly thank you
Great video.... Just one suggestion: Try carefully installing the blades and light fixture before hanging and connecting the power afterwards. (Lay the unit onto its side and hanging off a work table while installing the blades.) Afterwards, hang everything as one unit....
I couldn't get it to work on this fan if I installed all the blades as it wouldn't let me angle it enough to hang it. We didn't completely test the theory but I believe if you put all the blades on but maybe 1 or 2 you could do that. Were you able to angle it enough to get it hung with the blades?
Good instructional video. The only thing that would make the video better would be deleting all the negative comments about your son. He did a great job! You’re lucky he even wants to work with you after you publicly humiliated him with your unnecessary derogatory remarks! Even if your comments were made in jest, they can still hurt and discourage!
Understood. I have actually removed the really vulgar ones but I kind of wanted free speech to rein for the most part. My son loves seeing the comments and I promise it didn't hurt his psyche. Also note that I wasn't actually talking to him during the video. Everything you hear is after the video was recorded.
Hi Clint, I found your video while trying to find instructions for adding a wall plug wire to a ceiling fan. I understand that is not what you are doing here, but noticed you offered help. So, here is my dilemma: I rent a room from an elderly woman. In this room when I moved in was a ceiling fan that didnt work. This fan was a regular ceiling fan, that was wired to a cord ( like a lamp) and plugged into wall plug. Her son, who only has one leg, who installed this fan, said he would repair it. So I took it down off ceiling. He opened it up, and wiring was all melted, so they went to Home Depot, and purchased a new Hunter fan. With lights too. They also bought a new cord and plug to put together with new fan. So, the cord they bought has two wires in a decorative goldish plastic coating. No white, black, green wires, Only two wires in there like a regular cord for an old lamp at grandmas house? And the plug, has no ground on it, only two prongs. I think this may have been the problem in the first place with the melted wiring in the first fan?! I am worried her son doesn't know what hes doing, and will ruin another fan, and possibly start a fire in my room!! So do you have any thoughts?? Shouldnt the cord contain a blue, black and green wire?
What they bought is called lamp cord and it only has 2 conductors in it like you see. It is not appropriate for this task. Depending on how long you need it, you can buy premade cords at Lowes or Home Depot that have bare wires on the end for this purpose. But definitely don't use that cord. You could make it work, but I don't recommend it. Since you have to pull on metal chains and such for a ceiling fan, I would want at least a 2 wire cord plus ground.
Mine had 10 machine screws to be taken out from the bottom of the motor. If you go by the manual you will mount the fan and then take the screws out upside down from a rotating housing. haha So make sure you take out these ten before you hang. I got 8 out and spent 4 hours trying to get 2 out. You cannot get your drill and drill bit close enough to unscrew. I am going back to Lowes for an extension. The 10 machine screws would have been so much easier to take out on my lap. You have to fit an exact angle with your screwdriver to apply any torque. The screws are not deeply seeded so the notches require a perfect fit. I tried all 20 of my Phillips screwdrivers and even 3 flatheads on those two problem screws, They must have driven those two in with a machine. If the extension does not work I will have to go through hell twice (taking it all apart and starting over)but once I have the motor on my lap I know I will get those two problem screws out.
Thank you so much, that was pretty simple and I was able to do it...... One more thing, don't be so hard on your son, he was doing a great job, mine was playing video games throughout this whole process! ha-ha
So for people like me that don’t understand I think it would be beneficial to be slow and SHOW the cords as you put them together rather than just tell us how it’s done. I still do t understand but I’m a visual learner and I can’t do just verbal and watching your hands move cords around that I can’t really see. Only part that confused me still get a thumbs up
Thanks Samantha. I understand your concern. That is a tough request because literally every house is different with potentially different color and a different number of wires. That is why I offer in my video for you to reach out if you don't understand something. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for this helpful video. With your help, I DID MY FIRST ELECTRICAL WORK! YAY! I did try my suggestion, assembling it all before lifting it up. Even with certain difficulties, I suspect that it was easier than the manual or (sorry) this video. My notes: (1) I first took down an older version of the Lansing type. If the set screws are tight, it turns out that they CAN take the weight of the whole thing. EDIT: but like the video says, never rely on them or on the wires holding it up! (2) Regardless of how you put it together, you should consider a magnetized screwdriver. Believe me, it's a pain in the tuchis when you drop a screw into the case -- but at least if you're assembling on the floor, you can shake it and all to get it out again, more easily than if it's hanging. (3) A problem: if you do full pre-assembly, how do you set it down on something? The down rod stuff and the light kit are designed for being hung, not to rest the whole weight of the assembly on it. I put it together on my lap (there's that natural gap, after all), and then set it down carefully in the gaps of the styrofoam in the box, and it didn't break. I think it would be better to set the body upside down on a table or something, attach the fans, attach the light kit (without the glass shades or the bulbs). Then turn it right-side up and carefully rest it on your lap or on the styrofoam (or something thick and soft) to attach the down rod, canopy, and yoke cover. Then hang it. Then wire it, attach the canopy to the bracket. Then attach the glass shades and the light bulbs. (Or instead hang it before attaching the light kit -- that kit may be fragile.) (4) The guy in this video hung it in seconds. It took me about a minute to get the ball into the bracket, and my arms got really tired. I think my problem is that I'm a klutz, and also I didn't plan a good cleared way to get it in. Make sure the ladder is back a bit so you're leaning forward stably. Move all the wires out of the way. Go up a step on the ladder if needed to look at it easier or have less lifting. Lift it with your strong arm and use your other hand to guide it in. (5) The blades did not get in the way of hanging it -- I didn't notice any tilt. They DID get in the way a LITTLE bit while wiring it and attaching the canopy. But it wasn't a problem: I nudged the blades out of the way with my hand or with my head if needed. Since the circuit breaker and power switch are off, that shouldn't be a safety issue. And I could stick my head between the blades, or reach thru, all I needed to.
I had what looked like this exact ceiling fan except you don't mention the remote receiver that comes with most ceiling fans. I couldn't figure out how to fit the remote receiver and the wire connections all in the same space inside the bracket. Looking now for a ceiling fan that does not have the remote receiver thrown into the mix.
Clint, this was a great video, we bought 3 fans, all 3 Lansings, 2 brown and 1 chrome. We put the chrome on up first, and absolutely no wobble when the fan is going. But the second one, we have some wobble when the fan is on all speeds. We put it together just like the first one and so we are wondering what we might have done wrong, or could do to correct it, before we install the 3rd one. Thank you!
Good question. My first recommendation is to make sure all the blades and blade holders are tight. If so, you just have a fan that is out of balance. Most hardware stores actually sell balancing kits which include little weights you can put on the blades to stop it. I doubt you have the problem with the 3rd fan as it's pretty rare today.
this is an outdoor fan but it still works, I had gone to Lowes with my parents to help me choose my new ceiling fan for my room. So we went and I saw the ecolake and I really liked it, but my parents said that it was an outdoor and that they did not like it. So I went with the grace bay ceiling fan but it was really worth getting the grace bay cuz it works like a CHAMP
Did exactly this.. (i have a red wire, as well) ... fan works, but lights dont... yes, I've verified lightbulbs are good... trying to figure out why lights aren't working... any thoughts are appreciated!
@@ClintHolland I never watched the show. I guess you had to have cable tv. I don’t have cable tv because I don’t watch tv. Antennas gets me all I want when I even turn a TV on. The little stuffed man wears a cap and a long beard. The recording says a lot Of different things. One is the things the little stuffed man says is Red Neck rule number 1. Most things can be fixed with extension cord and duck tape. When you were talking about how to wire up the fan after you hooked it on the hook holder is when I noticed.
I used the instructions alon with your video for my fan installation. I had red, white, black up in my ceiling. Connected them per your instructions. The light came on but the fan did not. So, I rewired it according to the instructions. White on white, green on bare copper and black and blue on black. Threw the switch, but nothing happened. I'm now scratching my head.
@@ClintHolland There is one switch on the wall. Behind the switch is a mess of wires, both black and white, but only one red. It also appears that the switch in the living room is connected with a panel of switches in the kitchen. It is confusing. I decided to hire a Lowe's professional installer to come out and finish the work. I also learned the blue box in the ceiling won't support the fan. So, my simple install turned into a cluster. Lol, sigh, I tried.
Clint Holland i am having the same issue. I have black, white, red wire and bare ground wire. I wires the black to black, red to blue, white to white, and the 2 green and copper together. Fan wont spin. According to the instructions this is correct for one switch.
Thank you for this video! We installed a summersville this afternoon. The light works, the fan motor runs, but the blades don't move. Any thoughts on why that may be? 🤔 Ty!
If you don't have a green or ground wire, it will still work just fine. The ground wire just increases the safety should the fan short out and you touch it. But I doubt you will be touching the fan very much.
Great video I got mine installed but it don't turn on . I connected my black one to the black one and didn't use the red wire . I don't know where I went wrong
I was thinking to same thing. Those little digs about his son's abilities bothered me. He should be thankful his son wants to be around him at that age. Hopefully the son didn't hear his dad adding the voice over. 😬
Hi! This video has been a life saver, thank you! Are you able to make a video showing the installment of a bathroom vanity light fixture? Thank you!! 😁
Either one would technically work but I always recommend doing it at the breaker box. The last thing you want is someone to turn the switch on while you are installing it.
Installed this fan before I saw this video. Saying the blade mounting procedure "sucks" is a gross understatement. Have put up many such fans over the years and never had such a difficult time with the fan blade attachment. Lousy design. Plan to take the other two I purchased back to Lowes.
Definitely a good idea. I am amazed at how little my kids know about fixing things. One day they will be on their own and I will have failed them when they can't even change their own oil.
Hello sir. I have a sealing fan model 40305 the fan have a white and red wires and my sealing is red, white and black just I little heads up how to wire this ? Thanks
It's dangerous for me to say how to wire something based solely on wire color. You really need to check those wires with a multimeter to know. However, I will give you my opinion. Do you have one or two switches on the wall for the fan/light?
If you are talking about the rubber or plastic blocks they use to stabilize the blades/motor, then yes. Do you hear the motor humming and trying to spin?
If that is the case, you will have to replace that box with a nice, sturdy metal one. It isn't too difficult to do either. There are videos on here of how to do that as well.
This was a pretty good video. You walked us through some pretty important parts and you were very precise. My only thing... why would you say stuff like that about your son to complete strangers? As a matter of fact why would you talk so negatively about him at all? At least he is trying he’s taking the time to learn how to do this with you. Yes I’m a mother and I know dads are different with their sons but you weren’t being “hard” on him, you were just down right ugly. “He’s going to be a winner” really? Smh 🤦🏼♀️
Thank you. It's called sarcasm. We are a very sarcastic family and my son actually thinks all the negative comments about the way I talked to him are funny. There was not seriousness behind them. It was all joking. He is a much smarter kid than I am which is what makes it even more funny.
Can I install Blades on the ground before installing motor up?
It depends on the model. On this one, technically no. To be more accurate, I believe you can install all but maybe 2 blades on the floor and then just install those when you get it mounted. If you install all of them on the floor you can't angle the fan to hang it.
I always do
Your son is doing a good job you’re blessed that he is helping you!
I really am. He is off to college now so I don't have the luxury of help any more.
Thanks so much for this clear and concise tutorial, made re-installing a fan from another room easy!
Great to hear and thanks for commenting.

This was a big help!! We were having trouble with thre light & the instructions didn't mention the blue wire!! Thank you!!

Great tutorial! I just installed my first fan.
Awesome and great to hear.
Great job guys! Kudos to the young lad for being a sport.
He's a great kid, well was. Now he is an adult but appreciate you taking the time to comment.
Good practical video, your son is probably an adult by now. Also, many good tips in the comment section, THANKS.
Thanks William. He actually is. Currently a sophomore in college so I will call that an adult.
Great informative, very clear video. Your son did an excellent job. Thanks for putting this together.

@@jamessmall3242 Got you. Yeah, having a longer downrod would probably help out a lot.
Very helpful, thank you.

You absolutely can do it. Let us know how it turns out.
I used this for my first fan. And used it again for my second fan cause i forgot. Very useful. Many thanks!
Glad it helped and thanks for watching.
Great tutorial
Appreciate that. And thank you for watching and taking the time to comment.
I'm sure your son just loves the constant snide critisim
If you are referring to the sarcasm then yes. He dishes it out just as well as I do.

@@ClintHolland Thank you for the information! I really appreciate the advice!.😀
Thank you! We conquered the fan/light installation!
Awesome. Love hearing that my video helped.
Just installed my 1st fan. Thank you. Was super easy.
Love to see messages like this. Thanks.
Great video! Installed my fan with no hassle. Thank you
Awesome and great to hear. That's why I make these videos.
One more thing, don't be so hard on your son, he was doing a great job, mine was playing video games throughout this whole process! ha-ha
He will love to hear that. Pretty sure that is what he was doing before and after this video. Thanks for watching.
I just wanted to say thank you very much for this video. It helped tremendously! Way better than the instructions. Keep up the good work 😁
Thanks Vanessa. Glad it helped.
I just have two wires coming from the ceiling so what should I do to do in this case?!
What color wires do you have coming from your ceiling and what color wires do you have coming from your fan?
Thank you and your son to made this video, A lots of experiences to learned.
Saved me an installation fee and helped me grow some hairs on my chest!! 😂 thanks so much
Awesome. Glad to hear that. That is why I make these videos.

I’m dying 😂 great vid btw.
I am thrilled someone gets the humor and sarcasm. Most people think I am a mean dad for saying that.
Clint Holland Hello! Thanks for responding! I agree, you’re not mean at all in my eyes, you’re just making a funny joke to make us laugh!
Great video! I just installed my 1st ceiling fan and came out great thank you sir.
Love hearing these stories. Glad we could help.
Thank you for this helpful video. With your help, I DID MY FIRST ELECTRICAL WORK! YAY!
I did try my suggestion, assembling it all before lifting it up. Even with certain difficulties, I suspect that it was easier than the manual or (sorry) this video. My notes:
(1) I first took down an older version of the Lansing type.
(Or instead hang it before attaching the light kit -- that kit may be fragile.)
(4) The guy in this video hung it in seconds.
Very nice and thanks for sharing those tips Timothy.
This video just made it SO easy to understand how to do this. Thank you for making it and sharing it!
Thanks Neal. Glad I could help.
Yeah, this fan didn't include the remote. I have a separate video of me installing a fan with a remote. ua-cam.com/video/WfhYInLo1e0/v-deo.html
@@ClintHolland Thank you, appreciate the response.
this is an outdoor fan but it still works, I had gone to Lowes with my parents to help me choose my new ceiling fan for my room. So we went and I saw the ecolake and I really liked it, but my parents said that it was an outdoor and that they did not like it. So I went with the grace bay ceiling fan but it was really worth getting the grace bay cuz it works like a CHAMP
Great video......... Super helpful... THANK YOU..!!
Thank you sir. Glad it helped and thanks for watching.
Did exactly this.. (i have a red wire, as well) ... fan works, but lights dont... yes, I've verified lightbulbs are good... trying to figure out why lights aren't working... any thoughts are appreciated!
Can you briefly tell me what wires you have from the wall and to what wires they are wired to on the fan?
So I have a blue wire coming from the fan.m but I don’t have a red one coming from the ceiling. Where would I put the blue wire?
Let's back up one step. What wires do you have coming from your ceiling?
Excellent video. Great work kid!
Thank you ! Was easy to understand. Thanks for the help. Also thanks camera man.
Thanks. I will be sure to pass your compliments along and thanks for watching.
My grandson has a little stuffed little man. It is duck dynasty. Half the time your voice sounds like the duck dynasty guy.
Love Duck Dynasty. Who does he think I sound like? I actually met Jase years ago.
@@ClintHolland I never watched the show. I guess you had to have cable tv. I don’t have cable tv because I don’t watch tv. Antennas gets me all I want when I even turn a TV on. The little stuffed man wears a cap and a long beard. The recording says a lot
Of different things.
Do you have 2 switches on the wall for controlling the light and fan individually or just one?
@@ClintHolland There is one switch on the wall. Behind the switch is a mess of wires, both black and white, but only one red. It also appears that the switch in the living room is connected with a panel of switches in the kitchen. It is confusing. I decided to hire a Lowe's professional installer to come out and finish the work. I also learned the blue box in the ceiling won't support the fan. So, my simple install turned into a cluster. Lol, sigh, I tried.
@@MPERIALENTERTAINMENTD Sorry to hear that but glad you got it worked out.
Clint Holland i am having the same issue. I have black, white, red wire and bare ground wire. I wires the black to black, red to blue, white to white, and the 2 green and copper together. Fan wont spin. According to the instructions this is correct for one switch.
Thank you for taking your time to give to us.
You are welcome. Hope it helped.
Thank you for this video! We installed a summersville this afternoon. The light works, the fan motor runs, but the blades don't move. Any thoughts on why that may be? 🤔 Ty!
I am not sure I understand. How can the fan motor be running but the blades not turning?
Thank you and your son. Saved me from going into Hulk Smash mode.
Cool. Glad to heat that. Although sometimes Hulk Smash mode can come in handy.
Thanks man you saved my a$$
Glad to hear. That's why I make these videos.
Thank you so very much! Very helpful!
Thank you so much for saving me a lot of time - I knew there was a better way than the instructions and you showed me how!
Awesome. Glad to hear and thanks for watching.
Thank you for doing this, this was very helpful and I thought your son did great:)
Thanks Warren. He is good kid, I just like to give him a hard time to show him who the boss really is.
I only have a white wire and a black wire coming from the ceiling - only 2 - which one ties in with the green ones?
If you don't have a green or ground wire, it will still work just fine. The ground wire just increases the safety should the fan short out and you touch it. But I doubt you will be touching the fan very much.
If I can move the down rod around does that mean it's too loose?
When you say around what exactly do you mean? It's ok for it to move in general. Otherwise the fan would probably vibrate and make noise.
Nice video...Just the blue wire instructions was real confusing...You said if you don't have red wire tie blue to two wires...What wires?! 🤔
What wires do you have coming from your ceiling.
Great instructions, very easy to follow. Thank you.
Appreciate the kind comments and thanks for watching.
Well done, and great assistant!
Thanks David.
Great video I got mine installed but it don't turn on . I connected my black one to the black one and didn't use the red wire . I don't know where I went wrong
What wires do you have coming from the ceiling and to what are they connected to on the fan?
Thumbs up for the tutorial, thumbs down for the emotional scarring. 😂
Yes, well said
I was thinking to same thing. Those little digs about his son's abilities bothered me. He should be thankful his son wants to be around him at that age. Hopefully the son didn't hear his dad adding the voice over. 😬
Good video
just need to mention that there is a reversible switch for the fan rotation
Hi! This video has been a life saver, thank you! Are you able to make a video showing the installment of a bathroom vanity light fixture?
Thank you!! 😁
I will add it to my list. Are you talking about replacing one or adding in one where there is not one?
Hi there. Would I need to shut the power down from the light switch or from the main power box?
Either one would technically work but I always recommend doing it at the breaker box. The last thing you want is someone to turn the switch on while you are installing it.
Installed this fan before I saw this video. Saying the blade mounting procedure "sucks" is a gross understatement. Have put up many such fans over the years and never had such a difficult time with the fan blade attachment. Lousy design. Plan to take the other two I purchased back to Lowes.
I completely understand.
See my son struggling with the most simplist of tasks 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for this video, I was able to install my fan pretty easy, thanks to you and your son... 👍🏻

Hey man if you have wall switch, does that red wire connect with that blue wire?
Thank you so much for this video! Our wiring is exactly like yours and we were wondering where the red wire went!
Awesome. Sometimes your dreams do come true. Thanks.
thanks for posting and narrating, fixn to put one of these up soon, your vid reminded me I should include my teen son in the process too =)
Definitely a good idea. I am amazed at how little my kids know about fixing things. One day they will be on their own and I will have failed them when they can't even change their own oil.
Thx for this tutorial. I was able to do 4 ceiling fans in my house.
Awesome. Thats what makes these videos worthwhile. Hearing that it helped someone. Thanks for the feedback.

Gracias mi bro, saludos desde Chihuahua, México
Instructions unclear. There’s a tornado in my bedroom.
Sounds like you did it correctly.
Very good👍 excellent thank u for your time showing this
You are very welcome. Hope it helped.
Thank you! How could I tell if I need one of those expandable ceiling fan brace to replace the existing light fixture box?
Are you able to get above the box such as in an attic or is this a box between stores or otherwise inaccessible?
@@ClintHolland why my fan is wobble what I did wrong
"See my son, struggling with the simplest of task.. he's gonna be a winner" LMAO!!!!
Everyone can't be an astronaut.
Fathers and sons --lol !! Atleast he can't claim a 'cats in the cradle' situation. I am sure he will turn out great
Do you need to take out spacers before you connect electrical? I have it all connected but it’s not spinning. I still have the spacers on.
If you are talking about the rubber or plastic blocks they use to stabilize the blades/motor, then yes. Do you hear the motor humming and trying to spin?
Hi, the fan has a green, blue, black and white wire, but my ceiling has a red, white, black and a naked wire, how do I connect it?
The bare wire will connect to the green. White is usually a neutral and black is the hot. But your going to need a meter to verify.
I have same model fan and tried to put it up but plastic housing in ceiling poorly secured and doubt it would hold weight of fan. so I gave up.
