nope, eren must complete his plan regardless of the deaths , erwin and eren are kinda same when it comes to moving forward.thats why armin will save the humanity and not erwin,because armin is not a commander but a human being who can solve problems whereas erwin and eren will do the job whatever the cost is because they r fighting for eldians only.

I agree but disagree mainly because that Erwin's been threw so much and that it's hinted that he feels like he should have been the one to die instead of is conrads, so when he die, he died a hero and in the field of battle to when humanities greatest victory. So i think that, between this and other possibilities, this was the best place for him to die, not when he lost his arm, not to people over the sea, but in the place where he helped humanity regain hope. i also agree to disagree. levi picks armin because he knows that it isn’t right to force erwin to continue. as horribly tragic as it is, erwin accomplishing his dream might leave him empty, so death was almost a better option in this case. also, looking at the tactics of erwin, he selfishly continued to pour troops into getting to the basement, no matter how many died. levi also chooses armin because, to some extent, he can see pieces of erwin and that same curiosity in armin, someone who hasn’t been completed broken yet. erwin truly was a devil, sending so many to die by his hands.
