Finally, someone using a sandbag without fucking handles on it. Way to go! Haha
Wish could share my bag Work just as good as this One
To all those asking where to get sandbags:
Buy an army surplus duffel bag or sleeping bag cover, etc.
Fill ziplock bags with sand and duct tape them.
Put the sand packs into the bag, and you're done. Nearly for free!
I recommend using contractors garbage bags which are 3 mil thick. You can use the entire bag and zip tie it or you can cut the bag in pieces and make a smaller weights. With duct tape, you can make it so it never leaks. The food bags will eventually break especially if you do stuff like throw the sandbag to the ground. I have to sand bags that use two contractor bags one inside the other, and one bag weighs 50 lb of sand and one is 75. I don't think it will ever break and it's never Dusty. I also have a bag with handles, and it is useful for some things as well.
@Who Cares? well young man, you lift more than I do. Congratulations. I only lift a 50lb bag regularly but also sometimes a hundred pound bag. I can lift much more than my joints like. So I'm trying to become sensible. But when I was younger, yeah I did crazy stuff. Of course I miss those days and every once in awhile I still live those days but then I regret it for the next few days. Now I'm a 62 year old fat but fit old man. I think I'll still use contractor bags for the hundred pound bag however I will divide it into small segments. I will use three or four bags for each bag of sand and I think it has a decent chance of lasting
Awesome. I have absolutely fallen in love with sandbags. They are so rugged and brutal, and they develop a very different kind of strength than traditional barbell training, in my opinion. Much more usable for things like wrestling. Mine has handles, so they can hurt like hell if I catch one on a bone doing shouldering. Any tips on making a bag like the ones you use?
I would recommend in investing in something like the tuff bag without handles. Handled bags are great, I own 2 of them and use them for different things, but man your grip will thank you, and it just works better with some things. The Tuff bag is about 100 dollars, kind of pricy, but can hold up to 450 pounds, which is amazing! I 100% agree with your comment though. I have switched to replacing squats and deads with sandbag pick ups, carries, and bearhug squats.
Good work brother! -That's what's up! All around great base session. This is the idea of a good youtube session.
I can visualize such a diverse variety of add ins (some throws, striking, some ground transitioning, all kinds of stuff to this great session. Or just in a separate session but either way I love seeing a good base of variety so THANK YOU SO MUCH (for sharing) MY BROTHER.
I appreciated seeing that session.
I do wwe moves with my standing bag, i just pick up the whole thing and the water in it moves around and is good for weight distrubution training, only need about 50 pounds in the thing, the movement of the water makes up for the weight, good resistance training
awesome set. I was looking at quite a few videos for something just like this. I have a small heavy bag at home and was thinking it would be good to train with just needed some inspiration.
nice little add for woodford reserve. one of my faves
Good shit
well done on the music choice and choice of lifestyle!

I am very interested on trying it out!
domination pantera...violin power great
I’m actually useing just a regular heavy bag and doing my own little drills with it . What exactly does this help ? Grappling strength and conditions right ? Anyone ? Thanks
Rogue Strongman Sandbag is 250 lbs.
How do you know?
Caique Silva they advertise that
Hi Travis, do you have any special programs for sandbags workouts?
give some wwe smacks like f5 or fu
I am uncertain whether you will acknowledge this remark, but I am curious to learn whether it is advisable to always select a sand bag that is 10 kg lighter than our current weight and what is the typical duration of your exercise with this sand bag in hours, such as one or two?
I think the training last 45min at most since smaller muscles can get overworked if you go too long. You can always do a leg or back specific workout after. I don't train with a bag but That's what I would do.
The bag in the video looks around 100lb
great video...where do you get your bags? Also do you fill them sand or somethin else? Thanks
Where do I get a big bag like that?
Taco Platter Rogue, GORUCK, or Brute Force Training
what were all the weights for each?? solid form.
Where to get this type of sandbag at?
Im wondering where can i get the sandbags @ cuz i wanna practice this
I have a couple Cerberus bags - they are WELL worth the dough. He seems to have filled up an army duffel bag (or sports equipment bag) with something a bit lighter than sand, rice perhaps.
How much kilos that bag?
Which sandbags are you using? Thanks
Would this build quite a bit of mass?
What bags are these?!
If you really want to buy specialty sandbags, go to ironmind dot com. They sell high capacity sandbags that will last you a lifetime. But you'll have the same results with a repurposed old bag, so if you're cheap, get creative!
👏👏👏👍
