If you machine flows water while set to hot water it is your water inlet screen clogged. Pull it out and clean it. Use needle nose pliers and it pulls out like a Cork. Screw all this diagnostic testing. Something so simple took me all day to troubleshoot. Hit like if it worked. I had mine stuck in sensing mode. Try this if just hot works.
All mine does is spin and won’t agitate trying to fix this myself, I replaced the agitator and the big plate over it and I still can’t get no action going to agitate. Spin dry is a boss tho. Edit: I finally got it working by figuring out the factory reset (plenty of resources on it on UA-cam). I had to install a new actuator (that was the problem ) and I had to re-install the plastic gear as it’s very easy to install wrong and the actuator won’t engage correctly if it’s not perfectly lined up. Pretty easy once you figure it out. You’ll know you installed the actuator wrong when the high pitched scream comes from the gears grinding.

I did the 3 counter clock wise and un plug for 2+ minutes then the 12-11-1-etc start and light came on...did its thing and no lights stayed on. Washed a load in deep water fill in hot water...will sense spin 3 or times with hot water than it stops the hot water and won't fill up...
I have maytag centennial for 11 yrs np except had to recalibrate 2x This time it looks like shift actuator. If i were strong id pull it out and undo back and but the $20 part😊

Make sure all connections on that lid lock are tight. A flashing lid lock means that the lid is not closed. Worst case scenario, the control board went bad and it is not registering that lid lock. But, I would try to investigate that lid lock first before jumping to conclusions
The older model MAT12 is a fossil but will last you a life time and replacement parts are still available till this day Maytag or rather Whirlpool really nickle and dimmed this MVW and MAT20 models 🤬
Can anyone help me find the model and serial number to this washer? I have this exact washer, including the paperwork on it, from the purchase. i have a service warranty, so the technician tells me that the complete model/serial ends in 2 numbers, mine ends in 200bw, which is preventing him from servicing the machine under the warranty. Can someone help me out? I don't see the model/serial number inside of the washer lid? Could i find it anyplace else on the maching?

Hola Raquel, depende que la máquina que esté usando, si tiene una lavadora que es High Efficiency Washer esas están diseñadas para que usen menos agua y también para que usen menos energía. si tiene una tradicional, puede que tenga problemas con el switch de presión o quizás la válvula de agua. Si necesitaría un técnico para que revisara la lavadora
Posiblemente tiene el fusible del lid dañado, ellas comúnmente dañan eso. Estoy trabajando una ahora mismo, no tengo ese problema pero lei sobre eso y te puede ayudar.
@@AngelMartinez-ti3df gracias por su respuesta! Tuve que llamar a un técnico a que me ayudase, y solo le golpeó un poco la puerta de adentro hacia afuera y se solucionó el problema, días antes mi niña se sentó sobre la lavadora y no había yo relacionado una cosa con otra. Gracias nuevamente!
@@shawnharris4899 I guess the lock sensor is very fragil and I had put much of my weight on the lid when trying to reach something in a shelf above., the technician that came, gave the door/lid a good hit from the inside of the door outwards and it solved the problem, I guess it evened it out again. He opened the door and held it with one hand while hit it with the other one. Hope I’m explaining myself.

Put it on bulky/sheets & heavy it’ll fill up. I unscrewed the lock and insert it myself just to make sure it’ll fill up.

Try starting then stopping and restarting the washer will sense a heavy ass load and fill to the brim 😮
